  1. Just because there is a gap in service doesn't mean it needs a route lol... Actually the gap isn't very good cuz you have myrtle not too far away so that just makes your argument invalid... But you never answered my question... have you actually been in cooper ave or glendale before? (other than boring atlas park)
  2. The isn't even that bad... Sometimes trains bunch up. So one train will be packed then the next one 2 minutes later is empty.... Happens a lot actually when I think about it.... I took the everyday for 3 years I would know this... I have experience to back up what I say.. And if you take the everyday, you get used to it, I did..... and it isn't as bad as you make it out to be, Lexington Ave routes and the and are WAY worse... The is really bad during PM rush not AM
  3. Actually............... I read and analyze your ideas when you put them...... It's just that you make ideas for a route for everywhere in the world when in fact you probably have never been there....
  4. Q55 connects to Woodhaven Routes, the and a few other buses.... How many times have you been to Cooper Ave Threxx? Seems that you have been all around the world with all these horrid ideas you make
  5. Well actually, you don't always have to make a route to connect two areas unless service is DEMANDED or feasible... Network coverage isn't always necessary.... The awkward moment when I've been to Ridgewood and can tell you that Cooper doesn't need the service.. Most people in the ridgewood/glendale area use the Q54 and Q55, both of which provide very good connections... Central Queens residents can always take one of these buses lol...
  6. Really? Whenever I wait for the Q3 or Q77, at least 2,3, or 4 Q17s come but that is during rush hour (at 179th and Hillside)... 45 minutes? Sheesh I would've walked or something lol..
  7. It will reduce crowding on LTDs... Most peeps get off either along the local stops in Merrick or Rochdale actually so most of them will flock to Green Acres buses (LCLs) instead of Rosedale buses (LTDs)...
  8. With the Q17, at least in Jamaica, it is very frequent and doesn't get very crowded often in the rush hour from what I have seen... Does it get more crowded towards Flushing? I already know about the Q25 lol... oh boy.. I am going from Jamaica to Flushing with some peeps this week and I am def avoiding the 25 and looking to catch the 44 or 65 (I am orion 5 hunting lol)
  9. Q30A: Nope. I think the Q26 should go to QCC Q33: I'm sorry but the Q33 is perfect as it is now, and the Q47 already serves 69th St Q74: Nope. Revive it as how it was pre 2010, and have it run on Vleigh Pl (not Main) and give it longer headways, that will work IMO Q78: This is a very random route lmao
  10. I have brought this idea up before, but not in this thread... IMO I think the Q5/Q85 should have some type of saturday LTD service.. Shorter than weekday LTD service though (like maybe 4-7pm, for instance. On weekdays, the last Q85 LTD to Rosedale leaves Jamaica at 8:45). I say this because, whenever I take them on the weekends in the PM hours they get very crowded.. LTD service could speed everything up.. Even at like 9-10pm, the 2 routes get very crowded on weekdays AND saturdays.. But that is just my opinion...
  11. Brinqinq the q's for g's thinq back... LMAO I CANT TAKE MYSELF SERIOUSLY XD

That aint too bad. I was trying to get a bus from Ditmars to Cortelyou after a day that took me everywhere from the (4) at 125 St to the Rockaway (S) to say I have ridden every train in the system. When I go there, the 8:20 had left. I did not want to wait for the 8:55, so I pushed on home. Collapsed asleep as soon as I touched the couch.

  18. In some instances it can be from personal experiences, but only if you frequent the route of course... Like the Q85 for example, may be off schedule, this happens a lot, not only in my experience, but I am saying this as a frequent rider of the line... It can be personal experience/observation if you a frequent rider of the line, but if you aren't then you shouldn't say anything...
  19. One thing I have noticed with the bus and subway proposals, is that most peeps who post in the bus proposals (not all) post ideas that are outrageous and not the brightest (in a very nice way).. I don't understand... Also a lot of peeps who post in the bus proposals think that they are ridership experts talking about fixing services in areas that they don't even go to or rarely go too... Like you can't say, "The Q85 should avoid ____ street and go down this ___ because a lot of people got off near here the ONE time I took it". No you rode it once, just cuz you rode it once doesn't mean you are a ridership expert and that you understand the patterns, I take the damn route EVERYDAY... All these things are the reason why I don't even mess w/ the bus threads anymore, because I just get frustrated.. People trying to fix the lines that YOU ride everyday and they DON'T... In the subway thread, the discussion got really frustrating, peeps who DON'T take the Astoria Line everyday were trying to tell me that adding service is enough when the goes to SAS for example, I am a frequent Astoria Line rider (My school is at Ditmars) and I notice the erratic scheduling and ridership patterns, shouldn't you take the word of someone who frequents a particular route (bus OR train) as they would know the most about the route (crowding, buses used, major points, w/e) ? I mean that should be common sense....
  20. This one better not end up like the reverse vending machine thread.......
  21. Who suggested that the M22 go to S Ferry? That's a fail. In any case, it would follow M20 route S. of chambers I guess, but then what is the point of the whole idea? It is so redundant
