  1. NJT needs to retire the low 5200's ASAP. Saw few on 154 today and they looked like they are beat to hell and held together by a duct tape
  2. I'm thinking the same thing. Every time I see a D4500 on Bergenline Ave as 156/159, I wonder how much time is lost from people trying to get on and off the bus
  3. Some bus drivers treat the D4500's as if it is a Dodge Challenger... I swear, some bus drivers are wild out there
  4. If this means using the scanner on the buses, I expect dwell time on Blvd East will skyrocket...
  5. As a lifelong rider of 166, all I can say is "Finally" to seeing 166T express on Sundays. The Blvd East and the crowed to the city on Sundays can make things dangerously crowded on 166.
  6. Saw bunch of XD60's and NABI buses chilling at Vince Lombardi lot on Friday (8/11). Any idea why there were there for? Does Medowlands garage have space issues now?
  7. Is Fairview getting help from other garages other than Meadowlands? Spotted 5706 on 156 today at Bergenline Ave.
  8. It makes me laugh to see Oradell drivers giving face to passengers on Blvd East who gives $20 bill for a ride to "city" or "Port Authority"
  9. Having an OCD for destination signs, I'm confident that NJT can program the sign as Jersey City JFK BLVD-61ST into two lines. But then again, I don't make the destination signs.
  10. I really wonder how the D4000's are actively running out of Oradell. I had the liberty of riding one today on 166T, and boy, the bus can still haul ass on the Turnpike.
  11. NJT finally updated the destination sign for 355 to NY. Instead of New York being on two lines, it takes up the entire destination sign (just like your standard 114 NEW YORK).
  12. As a lifelong rider of 166, I am very happy to see off peak addition of 166T in both direction, especially the last 166T on Saturday is at 11:50 PM. Also, many Oradell bus operators seem to add the decamp destination sign, on top of their run. i.e.: 166: New York Local -> 191D New York Express
  13. Since when did 165 have following destination sign? Also, where does it end? 165 EMERSON
