  1. I wonder, why can't they extend the 1 from Colonie to Albany Intl Airport on Sundays (every run) instead of having that AM 117 run just there. Every other bus could go to the airport, with the last bus leaving Albany Bus Terminal at 8:05 PM (arrivng at 8:49 PM). This trip would go back at 9:05 PM (arrving at 9:55 PM in Albany).

    The 610 ran hourly service on sundays, and then got improved to 45 minutes, so i'm not quite sure what happened there? I checked the route performance reports from years prior, nothing was ever mentioned. Also for the record, the 155 runs there three times a day on sundays, at 6, 2, and 10.

  2. Wait so the R179 will be on the (Q)? Niice Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

    The current popular belief is that in order to prevent CI from having to maintain an extra fleet that's only a few cars, all the 179's will go to 207th, with a few (A)'s being done out of there, so that R46's can go to Jamaica, to give extra 160's to CI

  3. Love You Like A Love Song (H8_Seed Cover)

    It's a damn shame he stopped making music, such a waste of incredible talent and a beautiful voice. (Ever heard him just singing without the talkbox? It's incredible.) He never limited himself to one genre, excelling at categories from rock to dubstep. But if it's what he wants to do...

  4. CDTA doing it right!

    I'm glad to see that wasn't for nothing, the first reverse peak trip on the 712 has been empty literally every day.

  5. Today the harlem line was absolutely Screwed up. For the PM Peak, they had ONE TRAIN FOR THE ENTIRE LINE. Stoping at Melrose Tremont and every single stop up to Wassaic in One 7 car train.

    Hourly Service? There was no standing room in the train! Why a 7 car Shoreliner?

    LMAO A local to Wassaic!? How long did that take to get up there?

    Took Metro-North to work today (I was in a good mood lol). Caught the 3:19 pm express Harlem train out of Grand Central. Funny thing was that the boards said the first stop would be Mt. Vernon West followed by Fleetwood (my stop), even the conductor said Mt. Vernon West would be the first stop. Ended up stopping at 125 St anyway (not that it mattered to me), then Mt. Vernon West.

    Caught me an M3 too, only the second time I caught one since I started working up there

    From my experiences, even during off peak if you commute everyday you'll find quite a few.

  6. I liked the first one, nice flow and beat.

    I didn't like the rest unfortunately. The second and third's vocals did not much the beat and flow at all, I couldn't bare to listen any further. That's my opinion.

    The last one...well that's just not my cup of tea.

    First off, I want to thank you for being honest, it seems stupid, but that's pretty hard to come by nowadays.

    Secondly, the way it's phrased, mainly the vocals don't match the track is your main complaint, not the track itself. Is that correct?

  7. Defnietly taking the 114 to school now. I can leave 10 minutes later, and I still get to school on time. Yeah, sometimes the 18 and 114 don't have seats, but still worth it, as it's a much shorter trip. (Especially if I can connect to the 6 tripper that picks up over there, as that'll actually get me to school faster than the tripper that picks up in my neighborhood)

    Something that seriously bothers me up here.....

    The bus will be packed, and then you realize there are actually seats in the back. People REFUSE to stand in the back. This is NOT GOOD, as on the LFS, the driver doesn't have control over the back door, so you are forced to push yourself through ~25 something people.

  8. Gah, I just remembered I forgot to those isometric sketches for homework D:

    Good thing I have a study hall today...

    On a completely different thought;

    Ok, so daylight savings was extended to november so that it would be safer for kids during halloween, right? But how is that safer than sending kids to school in darkness for 2 WEEKS?

  9. When confronted, I usually like to explain what I'm doing, and show them a relevant document which supports the idea (in my case, it's a page off of the Toronto transit's official website explaining the guidelines to photograph very clearly). If they continue to escalate the situation, well, that's on them. In April 2012 I was chased around by some guy around the bus station, I had just sat down in my seat and the bus was pulling out of the station when a driver ran out of the station, POUNDED on the doors and threatened that the bus would not be moving until I left. in the interest of not inconveniencing other passengers, I complied, although I question to this day what the hell I was thinking when I didn't file a complaint about this guy... mind bogglingly unprofessional.

    Thats why I actually perfer it when the ops ask what i'm doing, because there was this op on the 41 last year, who had no idea what the hell I was doing, and he actually asked a fellow student about it later in the year, but they were really bothered by it, because they didn't know at first. (Of course, I tried to photograph the other 41's instead more, so that he knew I wasn't doing it just to him)

  10. I'm going home this weekend, but I will take a pic next week. Also, I've never heard of that Crossgates-Walmart shuttle. Seems like such a short distance for a shuttle bus.

    There's no public schedule or anything (probably why it has 0 riders) but it's there. I don't know the hours or frequency though. Also, you can't walk to/from Crossgates, so that's why that's there.

  11. So, yesterday, as part of the robotics team, we had to run demos of the robot for the parents all night since it was open house night. We were in the cafeteria, and everyone was surrounding the table of boring old food, and not paying attenion to the awesome frisbee-shooting robot with AI! What is this? It makes a significant amount of noise too, with the hydraulics and all. Later, the hydraulics broke again, so with RaChaCha tommorow (Robitcs competition in Rochester, hence the location change) we finally just replaced it, instead of trying to fix it again, and then the battery died, so it was pretty much in-operable half of the time. Also, i'm really looking forward to waking up at 2AM tommorow, as we have to be in Rochester by 7AM. Lots of other stuff has been going on too, such as starting high school, but i'll talk more about that when my internet comes back and i'm not restricted to school computers.

    ======================================================================================

    Ah, I forgot to mention....

    As some of you may or not remember, a B/O on the 116 slapped me for taking pictures of him (his bus in reality, but nevertheless), almost a year ago. So, I was taking pictures of the trippers afterschool, and he saw me with the camera approaching his bus. Luckily, he stepped out, so I knew it was him before I took any overthere, and I told him "Yeah, I know". So yeah, he's still doing the 116 surprisingly. I'm glad I found out this way though, instead of taking pictures when they're pulling out, having him get in an altercation again, and blocking all of the other buses from leaving. (The 116 is the first to pull out) I still want to know WHY he has such a big deal with pictures anywhere in his vicinity. He seriously reacts like he is a wanted criminal who is facing souvier charges. But I mean civil service isn't really where you go when in hiding. I would ask, but it's gotta be something serious, so i'd rather not.
