  1. Service Change Posted: 02/12/2013 11:03AM Due to a police investigation at Utica Av, southbound trains are running express from Atlantic Av to Utica Av and some southbound trains are rerouted to New Lots Av. In addition, southbound and trains are bypassing Utica Av. Expect delays in and train service in both directions at this time. Allow additional travel time. A woman fainted and fell onto the tracks at Utica Ave and got hit and killed by a train
  2. There could have been a few sets stored between 59th and 36th in Brooklyn. The only runs north of 36th so still possible.
  3. Subway Time still shows running local, but only uptown. It's been this way since this morning. Were trains only stored on the uptown express tracks and not downtown? Or are the trains being moved back to the yard?
  4. No in the Bronx either. trains are running in manhattan again.
  5. Service Change Posted: 01/27/2013 11:50AM Due to police investigation at 4 Avenue-9 Street Station, there are no trains running between Whitehall Street-South Ferry Station and Bay Ridge-95 Street Station. Southbound and trains are running on the line from DeKalb Avenue Station to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station. Please allow additional travel time.
  6. That was quick... Probably something minor then
  7. Never seen the to WTC before. I wonder if they'll turn the northbound trains at Essex or Chambers/Nassau to make up for that
  8. Spotted by a twitter poster (not NYCTF) and retweeted by 2nd Ave Sagas http://via.me/-8ncdlbg Can't post the pic because im on a phone but its an R62A train at Union Sq with the (7)'s terminals. Picture is of roll sign only.
  9. The is running to Utica and the is extended to New Lots beginning at 10PM. The will run to Rector St on the from 10PM to 12 midnight
  10. Still ongoing. The police are looking for the woman who pushed the man to the tracks in front of a Queens bound train. The New York Times posted an article already.
  11. Looks like they're adding some shuttles for the Concourse Fasttrack: Additional service operates between Woodlawn and 149 St-Grand Concourse Late Nights, 10 PM to 5 AM, Mon to Fri, Jan 14 - 18 • Transfer at 149 St-Grand Concourse to continue your trip. Also downtown trains skip 155 st for the Fasttrack
  12. I bet that by one week they mean the same as traditional, but no repeats, ie they'll only do it once in 2013 instead of once a quarter. There are other locations on the one week list which couldn't handle a continuous shutdown, that's what leads me to believe that.
  13. Since this morning there have been no or trains between Prince and Dekalb because of track maintenance on the bridge. Where are the trains relaying?
  14. So what would happen in that case? Rector St downtown would be the last stop, followed by the uptown platform, similar to how the 6 is at Brooklyn Bridge?
  15. I'm gonna guess work at E180 or somewhere north of there on WPR where trains have less track space?
  16. Here's something interesting: Posted 10/12/12 11:12am Due to switch problems at 149 Street-Grand Concourse Station: Some uptown trains terminate at the 86 Street Station. Some uptown trains are running on the line from 125 Street Station to the 138 Street-3 Avenue Station and terminate. Please expect delays on the , and trains in both directions at this time. EDIT: Service resumed at 11:18am
  17. Non passenger train doesn't necessarily mean a work train. It could be a non-revenue passenger train deadheading or a NYA freight.
  18. There's now limited shuttle between TSQ and either 5th ave or QBP. Twitter says QBP, site says 5th Ave
  19. This has been going on since 6:30 this morning :0
  20. Another 12-9 a few minutes ago at Christopher St. No between Times Sq and Chambers, some via the
  21. Everything seemed fine a few minutes ago going into manhattan today
  22. Thee are still summer classes at Stony Brook and Port Jeff could be considered a day trip destination
  23. Oh so no more 7 car sets on that run then I guess. Which means 609 is also permanently 6 cars...
  24. That's why it was SRO. It's the most popular PM Port Jeff train. Most likely it was short cars because they were given to a seasonal Thursday/Friday Montauk train.
