From the dead but I’m 99% certain the MTA Bus Stockworker Exam #1305 list has expired. The last person to be hired from Exam 1305, was about a year ago.. Others have been hired, but from a newer exam from 2016ish

I was told the new guy who started working at ENY on Nov 13th 2017, quit the next day. But I’m surprised people are being hired from that old list.

I’m kinda late here, hope all is well and you enjoyed your summer. Confirmed, one person did officially retire from CP earlier this year. And perhaps another might go in a few months. However, at ENY it won’t be that much movement. One assistant should be leaving early next year thou. And in terms of exam 1305, I think that’s all water under the bridge now. PS. Everyone talks the retirement talk, but it isn’t official until they clock out for the last time. Good luck gentlemen.

You stand a better chance of being hired with MTA Bus. Exam 4104 is NOT for MTA Bus assistant stockworker

Sorry bout the late response, but yes someone did bounce from LGA and go to BP during the 2016 pick.. 2017 will be an interesting year for local 100 storerooms. Alot of movement instore. I was told a fella from CP just retired, and another person from CP isn't to far behind. How's JFK/FR? Ain't for everyone, TWU Local 100 just got contract signed. From what I was told, MTA Bus Local 100 made out like bandits

I have the original NOE at home On the local 100 side, word on the street is one guy plans to retire in April 2014.. So number 6 get ready!!

Spring Creek is the worst depot to work at of them all as it's the worst union and yur stuck at that one location forever!! And instead of top pay in 36 months, u top out in 48 months.. JFK and Far Rock union is different also, it's like ATU or so crap yes CRAP like that.. They max out in 36 months.. But won't see money like the local 100 depots

Brooklyn don't do ittttt.. JFK union is very very weak, pass on it n put yur name back on the list until there is a spot for local 100 depots.. Which is EastNY, Baisley Park, LaGuardia and College Point Depots.. Trust me.. Hommie JFK isn't local 100.. And gets no respect.. Local 100 depots assistants start off with $19.67 ish.. MTA Bus, NYCTA and MaBSTOA are all COMPLETELY DIFFERENT worlds.. MTA Bus starts Assistants with $19.67 then in 12 months u jump to $22.48 and so forth.. After 36 months u max out at $28.xx.. However if your lucky enough to be promoted(if a stockworker retires) to a full blown stockworker(tier2 in the TA world), u will start off with $29.62 and after 36months u will be at $31.xx(50 cents shy of a maintainers rate).. Bkbound you've got ah very good chance of being hired.. Romeo keep applying bro.. MaBSTOA coming in June.. But paying tolls suck

That promotional exam in May 2014 is for ONLY MaBSTOA employees that qualify.. However the exam in June 2014 is for anyone.. Starting pay should be $29.62 per hour(still no contract) and $31.xx after 36 months of service, similar/same as tier2.. Please note a CDL Permit will be needed upon being hired.. Few weeks down the line they will send u for a week to the Zerega depot for CDL training in a Orion 7 New Gen bus and pay u $29.62 per hour.

Honestly the pay for the assistant stockworker ain't all that poppin.. But it's better then nothing
