  1. I should get a letter by the end of the week. I had to put my name back on the list. You'll be the happiest and I'll be the most relieved.
  2. For your sake I hope it's for everything. Florida to NY more than once. SMH
  3. With that said, how would one go about getting said flash cards ?
  4. Did you take the signal test yet and did everybody in your class pass ?
  5. Spoke with someone earlier and was told that they'll start calling for October class on Monday.
  6. 240X. I'm just waiting for a case to be dismissed in two weeks. This is why I said hopefully October because at this point I'm not taking anything for granted.
  7. Hopefully we'll both get that Oct call.
  8. ( This is from an earlier post. SHOUTOUT TO BROWNHORNET! )Depending on the divisions. A division is 6 months. B division is 9 months. Reason being, the B division has more equipment (ie R32, R42,R46,R68,R68A,R143,R160) Meanwhile back in the A division the only equipment we have to learn are (R62,R62A,R142,R142A,R188) See the difference? if you read through the past post you can most likely find anything you're looking for.
  9. I deliver mail in a pretty decent neighborhood in Queens Village so I'll keep an eye out. Fairly cheap in NYC is about $1K.
  10. Good looking out Subway Guy. @ Pelham25, ask and you shall receive my friend. LOL!
  11. I understand how you feel but IMHO , unless one of these vets here say otherwise , I'd stay away from those sites. Imagine having to deprogram all that info if the book in school car reads otherwise.
  12. Wow!! Talk about a wakeup call for us incoming .
  13. @ Pelham25... You're looking @ the Oct class to hopefully start??
  14. ]On a whole the LIRR doesn't accept MTA passes but there are times few and far in between where conductors will honor MTA passes. For the most part do what W.E.M. said.

  16. And make sure YOU and only YOU use that metro card . I know firsthand of a person @ work while someone was using their metro card. ( which BTW is your I.D. )
  17. IMO I think the glasses situation with MTA be black or white. Meaning either you do or you don't . They might just put more emphasis on it considering there's a good chance you'll be working in dark tunnels. Or outside at night. The vibe that I'm getting from you is you don't want to wear them if you don't have to but for @ least 8 hours on the job you may be forced to wear them.
  18. That's what's up Dawg! When do you start?
  19. For train operator, yes. For MTA subway, I believe it was track worker. ( exam 3600)
  20. sorry about that Postal 1. Let me clear that up. I'm a letter carrying now and I'm waiting for train operator. I just wanted to know what Station you worked at when you were with the post office?
