Which pre-employment papers reviewed???

I heard there are only two types of trains you learn from in the Division A. Can anyone tell me if this is true and if so what type of trains are there?? P.S. I also heard most candidates don't pick the A Division because geographically Division B is more closer to there resident.

How will they find the phone numbers of all your previous jobs??? Sounds a bit ridiculous to me. Not saying your lying.

How does the MTA investigate your previous work history?

There are no hiring freezes as of yet. Train Operator list is moving rather quickly. I asked a TSS last week in the subway station about upcoming classes. And he said January, February, March, and April there will be all classes. Now can anyone PLEASE find out the dates. We are already in the month of January. Thanks and good luck to all...

What does RTO & RDO stand for??

All those I would like to Congratulate that made it into school car. Now the question is, what is the salary in school car per hour???

Those people that work at the MTA employment center are not the most organized group of individuals. I called the 1-347-643-8229 # last week and spoke to some lady that answered the phone. She told me their up to list # 295. Then I called this week and another lady answered the phone and said she doesn't know. Then, I called yesterday and some guy answered the phone and said they are up to list # 205. Can somebody please tell me if they know what list # they are up to with the drug tests and the medical exam??????? I mean come on now, you have a ton of people anxiously waiting to be called for years. It's like the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing. Also, I asked in my last post and I will ask again. Are there any dates yet for the Jan, Feb, Mar, and April classes???? Someone in a previous post claimed there were going to be 2 classes each month from Jan-April. Can someone in school car please ask a TSS or Superintendent!!! THANK YOU

Quick question: Everyone on here is primarily discussing divisions. Are Conductors and Trackworkers assigned divisions as well?

All of you people that went through this whole screening process were very helpful with all the information given by far. I am curious to what kind of questions & information is asked & required on the dreaded 21-page-booklet??? Can someone please break this down for us???

From I heard from a Train Operator that I spoke to. He said tons and tons of Motorman are either retiring or are being promoted. So I am assuming after being told that, there such be a lot of school car classes next year in 2013.

The drug test #'s being called must be in the late 300's already.

Question for those who filled out the 21-page-booklet. Did it ask for previous or current employers phone numbers???

Just curious are Trackworkers only assigned one division or they can work both divisions???

No need to be an a**hole with stupid posts. If you have nothing nice to post then don't be an idiot. My cousin just got called for the PD and they took fibers of his hairs instead of urine. Again anyone that went through the urine process can please explain the process step by step. Thanks

From what I read in the beginning of these posts was that they have you drink 40oz of water before you have your urine test. And that there are other people there as well and you have to wait for your number to get call. Now my question is, when this urine test is administered where is this conducted in a bathroom and is someone over your shoulder??

When a candidate is first called you receive a notice by mail to report to 180 Livingston Street for a urine test and then you are given a 21-page-booklet to bring home and fill out??? Is this true or false?? Can anyone who went through this process confirm this information please.

So basically, are your fingerprints taken the same day you go down for your medical exam?
