6138 wasn’t tracking. However, it was in Manhattan earlier this week. Plus MCH hasn’t received delivery as they are still training with 6128. Also, it was confirmed that 6138 did leave for Manhattan. It’s now back in Brooklyn.

Thank you... I didnt wanna correct him... I KNOW what I saw... it pulled up at Catherine St 6138... I got on it...Rode it to Grand St which is the next SBS stop.. got off and it took off... I should’ve gotten pictures of it at the time

So it’s safe to say. 6138 FB to MCH.

I had the opportunity to snap a photo but I didnt wanna look like a super foamer... it was around 9pm last night.. it’s the only one I’ve seen in service so far... but drivers have told me they have done driver training on it and that they have 3 XD60s in the Depot

They'd probably extend the (M) rather than bring back the (G) in that case

The G makes sense for weekends and I would even push for overnights too... the M to 96th on weekends works perfectly... R needs help on 4th Ave... I’m not opposed of the J or even giving the Z it’s own life by having the Z go to Bay Ridge

There was an earlier plan to have the Q7 rerouted from JFK Airport entirely to serve Green Acres Mall and have a Q6 Branch serve the Q7 JFK Airport terminal. Maybe that can work.

No... I get the idea but the Q7 nah....

Q111 Could be extended from Francis Lewis to Green Acres

I have a few updates to my Queens Bus Redesign Document (and Map) :

Q7: Cut From Euclid Avenue to Rockaway Blvd. This Portion is replaced by a Brooklyn Route. Buses are rerouted and Extended via Baisley Blvd and Bedell Street. Under TOD, I'd have the Q7 Terminate at Locust Manor Station, but instead I have them Terminating at Springfield Blvd and 145th Road.

Q18: All buses rerouted via 69th Street. A new route takes the 65th Place portion of the Q18 route.

Q24: Receives a Limited Service, but is Cut to Broadway Junction. The Same Route that replaced the Brooklyn Portion of the Q7 can also run via Broadway if warranted.

Q62: A new Queens Route that I came up with. Replaces the Greenpoint Avenue Portion of the B24 and continues to Run on Roosevelt Avenue until Woodside Avenue. From Woodside Avenue, the Q62 runs with the Q18 until 65th Place. It will have the same Terminal as the Q18.

Your Q7 idea had me up until I seen the part about terminating at Locust Manor Station.... now that idea makes NO sense at all being that the surrounding buses already there (Q3. Q85) No need for a 3rd Bus... what I WOULD do is have the 7 go to the Post Office via the Cargo Area... I think that option of the Q6 and Q7 to the Post Office would work

Newer buses?.... The only newer buses we received was for the sbs46 which was the 7600's. But it looks like Flatbush depot will receive hand me down buses from other depots in order to remove the current 40 RTS.

Those 7600s were the replacements.... Your XD60s are brand new... what more do you want really ?  The NGs are the only hand me downs you get and those will probably come from Staten Island

Flatbush Depot Age is good... once RTS is gone

  7. IMO unless it’s a sighting or and order update post about R179s

all the CBTC / FF chat should be moved 🤷🏾‍♂️... it messes up the chat already in progress by going off topic.. Granted it’s relevant to an extent but honestly people would probably care more about the 5 car order than the CBTC / FF chat I’m just saying 😎
