  1. 4901,5157,5164 OOS fairboxes and radios removed Jamaica is down to 5 RTS left

  3. That’s odd... wondering why QV would send some LFS back when they need every bus they could use right now...
  4. XDs hold more people... the LFS doesn’t... Brooklyn depots wouldn’t be good for LFS because of that issue Queens and Staten Island terrain wise are setup better for LFS... the Bronx can handle anything Manhattan simply because it’s just too dense.. LFSA’s outside of Crosstown Routes don’t work M15SBS is a prime example of why they don’t work... it’s killing the 1200s right now. XD60s would do the route much better in the long run
  5. True... they could as I’ve seen a few unwrapped at TU... and 2 wrapped at MCH... but hear me out.. I was speaking with a friend and we were throwing ideas out there and 1 was Gun Hill’s 4700s to GA... in return GH takes 1200s from MCH once there order comes in... Flatbush 5300s still go to the Bronx but they are spread out to who needs them...

  7. Artics can make moves 40 footers can’t... tight turns are no problems for Artics

  9. They appear on the M15 more often now.. I’ve seen them as low as Fulton St... but mostly Catherine St I see them all the time
  10. Seen this same set twice yesterday testing... once going to the city... that was around 8:40-45 ish last night so your video could definitely collaborate with the timing perfectly... and I saw It again at Jay at 10:30 southbound... came in opposite side doors opened and closed and it took off

  12. Oh ok... this 10 car seems to be doing very good so far... I saw a test 8 car yesterday with it signed up as a C... and the LED ring around the Letter C wasn’t lit up... it actually looked better without the ring... wondering if this is a program update ?

  14. The 6 having the heaviest ridership out of 44 41 and 82 (only reason I mention the 82 is because it’s the next line up in Bklyn) I can’t see why they didn’t look into that further... Granted the 6 at certain points isn’t streamlined but I’m sure with enough study an B6 SBS can happen

If the 77 was extended it would make sense just to extend it to 147th Ave so it could have connections with the Q111 and Q114... sending it into the airport makes no sense at all being that it rides Springfield Blvd so somewhere along its route your plan would have it coming off Springfield Blvd.. I’m gonna assume at the Conduit.. then it makes another turn on to Farmers just to follow the Q3.... think about that whole routing for a second.. it makes no sense but I’ll give you a different idea.... I would extend the Q111 to Green Acres... via 147th Ave... all the bus would do is make the left on to Francis Lewis... Right on the Conduit... Follow Q5/Q85 into mall... leaving the mall... Follow Q5/Q85 out of Mall... Left on Francis Lewis... Right on 147th Ave... proceed with normal route
  16. Lol the 41 is on the table... the Q58 will probably mirror how the Q44 is with bus lanes in certain places
  17. Thank you for filling him in on this... which is why I mentioned It in the first place... Flatbush Ave is horrible which creates bunching so the 46 can help out... You can come from 1 end and go down the other... it would be really smart when and if the 41 becomes an SBS

Lol your about to be mad when the M14SBS come on then... both A and D will be SBS meaning that it will be interlined... and you could Interline at Kings Plaza it could work... the Vans can’t be stopped much.. as I stated before that’s a DOT issue and the TLC has to get out there in a heavier presence to control that issue...

  20. From what I was told they are in Pitkin... not to be used unless extremely necessary.... not retired or active at this time
  21. I’m noticing ALOT of northern and western Queens on here with little to NO noise on Southern Queens.... like the Jamaica area doesn’t need streamlining
  22. Not so much... They will need training on those buses... cosmetically yes but operationally no.. How I know this info I can reference a friend of mine who works in FB...
  23. Makes perfect sense... and since this idea includes running 60s how about interlining the SBS’s at KP... 1 comes down as a 41 and goes back up as a 46 and vice versa
