  1. This is exactly what the TSS's (our teachers) told us. You are 100% more likely to screw up on your day off than any other day. You make mistakes and you're likely gone as a probie. Learn your job, get your rest until probation is over, their words not mine.
  2. RTO hit it right in the head, literally. Exactly 37 people of the 50 got to choose their division. 30 of those chose B Div. I was 39th to choose but I wanted A anyhow since I'm uptown. Great news for those still waiting. LIke someone mentioned before I think they are doing 60 more for the May 20th class. A training director mentioned they are EXTREMELY short of TO's. Seems like they will keep calling monthly at least till the end of the year. TSS Lovell gave us our final instructions, funny guy. So just hang in there, it's coming for you guys.
  3. Well I got my letter yesterday report 5/10. List 71X. I have a question. I know everyone says the first visit is drug test only. Then 2nd time is medical/hearing/ekg. However: My letter states : "Pre interview and medical examination, which will include baseline audiometric (hearing) testing. Photographic Identification and social security card are required for pre-employment medical examination." So, my question is, do they just say that and you get just the drug test, or did something change? Just curious. I also just realized that although I never needed glasses to drive, (20/30 vision), I'm guessing this eye exam is deeper than DMV and should probably get glasses just in case, am I correct on that hunch? Thanks and good luck to all who have to report.
  4. Hi all, Been creeping around these forums for a long time and looks like I will be for much longer considering my list number is in the early 700's lol. I went to my doctor last week to do a complete physical in anticipation to the MTA medical. Turns out my BP was a little high (145/86). So he gave me medicine which seem to lower my BP overnight (been in anywhere from 116-126/70-78) all week. So my question is, will I be disqualified because of this situation? Having somewhat high BP but under control with medicine? Thanks in advance, I did try to search for this but only came up with one guy asking a similar question with no answer.
