thanks dac9050 for sharing some good information with me ill just wait until general picking in december I'm thinking i might take the train the first day instead of driving but the parking thats available is it in a separate parking garage from the depot it self trust me i will be driving 15-20 if even that fast because i know these cyclist don't have to much sense we was told over and over not argue with anyone who refuses to pay just press f5 short fare button i do a great job of ignoring people what kind of buses does this depot have i will hit you up

thanks dac9050 i start my line training on monday i figured something wasn't right when only manhattan n bronx was available can't complain about it now just grateful i didn't get force to staten island like the class before mine how is the bus routes from that depot how is the parking at that depot how is the parking over thanks @nyctbeast how soon can i put in a transfer for brooklyn and if i put in a transfer will i be able to pick again when the general picks come around in December

today my class got to pick depot and by surprise no depot was available for brooklyn only manhattan and the bronx had depots available if brooklyn isn't available for my class where would the next class be going does any know how is manhattanville depot

yes i agree that the 10 day training was tuff for me especially since i have never driven anything bigger than a uhaul truck when i get on my own i can imagine how challenging it would be I'm just going to take my time and don't rush are speed that what i did to get to zeraga also i drove and found park over parsons blvd and 20th av and took the q44 to zeraga what the are sum of the good depots in Brooklyn to consider

thank @nyctbeast your absolutely right ,the main the thing is too take your time once your on the job don't speed and be alert of whats going on around the bus

i watched the video why does 23 % of ppl hired fail out of initial training and why does 11% of fail out of probation

just apply what your instructor told you from day 1 until this point

main thing to get thru the 10 day training is listen to your instructor drive slow don't be in a rush ,scan your mirrors 3-5 seconds,look out and call out anything hazardous around you ,keep your 4ft from cars parked on right and the curb,take your time when making either left are right turns day 6 was today for me hope you doing well this for

just keep in mind that whatever depot you choose in queens your there until the end of career on the qualifying days does it have to be perfect in order to qualify

thanks for all your help i appreciate i have been looking over the book that was given out at orientation its very help full so far after driving the bus for the second time today i feel more comfortable than when i drove on day 1 I'm doing good on my turns just have to work on 4 ft space a bit more how long should each student get to drive per day

its going good so far its a lot to remember in a short period of time

today was day 3 of my 10 day training and i must say driving a 40ft bus in nyc isn't no joke you have to check your mirrors literally every 3-5 seconds. congrats on qualify on day 7 and all the best on your road test i was there early doing the simulator

orientation wasn't bad just filling out a lot of paper work
