HA ! This is so true. I was sitting there cringing...those questions should've been pre-screened before presenting them to MTA brass.

List# 76X. Took drug test on April 12...took medical on May 2....I start school-car on May 20 at $30/hr rate (Unless they plan on changing the pay rate?) Any new information I get - I will post it. Goodluck to all.

I took the drug test on Thursday April 11th....I am still waiting to hear back from them..... Anyone experience a long wait ? (I noticed some here took the drug test and were called in for the medical/interview and sworn in - all within the same week)

Vic- did they tell you they'll call you back in a month or so or is that your estimate ?

GUYS!!!! My conductor classmate got her letter today (Wednesday-April 3rd). Her list number is 800-805 !!! She has to report to 180 Livingston on April 12th !!!! Crazy thing is my number is 760's = no letter yet !!!!

LOL. Smooth, I went through the EXACT same thing: I was working in a law firm (support-staff position) and hated the office politics (not to mention the salary was far from great). Last year - I got called for the Conductor's Position - I ran away and never looked back. Now, I'm pretty happy but will be happier when I get called for Train Operator (List#760's)

**correction** my list # is in the 760's. No, letter yet.

Hello Ya. FYI - My list# is in the 740's and I have not received any letter yet...
