Some of you may be questioning why this is dated 1980 when the trunk line colors were introduced in '79. The MTA has done this may times when it comes to these sign curtains. Look at the route signs currently on the R32s. The diamond Brown R is on all of these signs, which are dated 1988. However, the Nassau Street specials were discontinued in late '87. So, I'm sticking with the date, at least until proven otherwise. When the R46s ran on the CC back in the old days, how come it used the blue diamond instead of its green and circle? And what else was on that rollsign with the Blue diamond CC?

What does anybody think the number series will go from-to? (sake of speculation)

I take it this thing of Musical Buses will be going on until the new MCI CNG buses come on line?

I don't see the CNG MCIs at the Meadowlands anymore. Have they been sent to meet their fate?

What would anyone think about using the current Metro North paint scheme on the Genesis engines on the express buses (Via Garibaldi 8, are you listening? ). Or on any Bus for that matter?

On my way back, I took the B16 and caught the (should be the in my opinion, hmph) at 55 St for a transfer at W 4th St to the . That's when I saw the running down 6 Avenue across the Bridge and at Bway Laffayette. Then caught a R32 at W 4 St running express to Port Authority. A weird day for travel certainly

I hate to invoke the great VG8, but sometimes when I want to go deep into Bay Ridge (well, 86 St at least) when I come from New Jersey into Manhattan, I dial up a $20 Metrocard and hop the X28...lol

Along with the Franklin Shuttle. My goodness, what a light move.....or the Times Square for that matter....
