Tommy I'm in the Oct 28 class I can tell you the first month my head was spinning but about a week before the midterm and practical it all started to fall in place. The first yard practical is a cut an add and preparing train for yard movement that's it. Study the move in the book make notes and study signals (every night) and you will see what I mean good luck.

FYI to those waiting the eye test is no joke I have good eye sight and I just made it. If I was to do it over again I would have gone to an eye doctor and have my eyes checked before the medical. YOU CAN where glasses or contacts for the test.

hey all went down yesterday for my medical and is pleased to annonce that I'm a NYC Transit employee got there at 0620hrs and was out the door at 1300hrs. thanks to all on this forum keeping us informed how the list is moving and what to expect at the employment center. to those waiting to be called be patient (its hard I know)the list is moving at a good pace read this forum (past pages) it has info that helps you gauge how the list moves and what to expect down at the employment center. List# 1520s took D/T 9/6 call for med 10/11 medical and final processing 10/16

Fyi i Just recived my letter to report to Livingston this Thurs Sept 5 for D/T list # 1520s

Take the T/O job after you are off probation im pretty sure you can leave ane have 1 year to come back so if you go to sanitation and dont llike it you have a good job to come back to. Sanatation has a better retirement if you in your 20s no 55yo to retire but if your in 30s then it pretty close to the same. Anyway good luck its nice to have your problems in this economy.

Hello All it great to see things are moving again congratulations to all entering schoolcar my list is in the 1520s range and have been reading this forum for the past few months and getting exicited as they move closer to my list#. Thanks to everyone posting and keeping us informed i will do the same so we all know where we stand.
