Ok, we have our first in service date!
Should things go to plan, the R179's will start their 30 day passenger test this upcoming Saturday, the 18th of November, on the line.
What's your source on this?

How many trains are getting the “Cuomo Scheme” ? Just 26 sets ??
100 cars got Cuomed, so that 10 sets of R160s.

Does anyone know what's going on with 5439? Last update I saw, it was in Long Island with the new scheme. I thought that it would have been in service by now.

Kind of shocked but not surprised the Q110 still uses artics in the rush. Found 5391 while waiting for the Q6 XD60 and tracked 5425 on the Q110 just now. So that means that now, MTA artics can be found on the Q6, Q7, Q64, Q110, Q10, Q52, Q53, Q111, Q113, and Q114.
One of those might be an interline with the Q64. I saw three on the the line last week and one of them wen to the Q64 later in the evening.

I wonder that too. The CP Q102 buses rarely pop up on tracker.
From what I saw the other day, the CP buses are extra runs in the 900 series. Therefore, they won't appear on tracker.

To be honest, the MTA can't cancel this order. A lot is riding on the R179s and if the order was cancelled, we would really be up a creek without a paddle.

This is the first I hear of the Q102 shuttle. I don't recall seeing it on the posters. Is it a short-turn or just extra service?
It's extra service. It only runs between 30th Avenue and Queens Plaza.

A couple of Artics maybe on the Q6 this afternoon. The pickup will be outside on the street where the Mta drop off is at.
What's your source on this, if you don't mind me asking?

4854 repainted. They put the MTA New York City Bus sticker in the black trim instead of the blue stripe.

5311 has new rear doors. Instead of opening inward, they slide open outward.

If the express routes were not there, they could.Definitely the B35, with some left over possibly for the B61 and B63.
Don't quote me on this... but I don't think artics could fit in Ulmer Park.

Those trains are stored between Chambers and Bowery for the next morning rush.Late weekday evening trains terminate at Chambers Street instead of 71st Avenue if you guys check the MTA's trip planner thingy and the departure times between about 11:00 p.m. and 12 midnight.
Edit: Sorry if this was said before.

6117, 6121, 6123, and 6125 are at Gun Hill, for some weird reason.

There's new countdown clocks on the L at Broadway Junction. Looks like they'll replacing the older ones on the line.

The DOT did a study of the area and decided to screw the buses over rather than address the dollar cab issue.
