If you pick into Queens you're stuck the that depot. If you are forced into Queens then no, you can pick into brooklyn. There's no forcing. It's all Brooklyn then transfer to Queens or SI.

Upto list 180 I think. My class mate didn't get in as he was in the cut off

There can be many reasons. No there isn't a ride before your promotion. The ride could just be part of the 19a check. Was it your birthday coming up? Usually if they are up front about it then it's just a 19a compliance check.

You get a notification (got a call) from the union rep at the depot and dispatcher told me as well. Then you go to downtown Livingston and pee and sign paperwork Similar to the one when you applied for the BO job, just transferring to a new position. Then wait for further instructions when to report to zerega. Urine test is good for 30 days so when you go that's when the class are schedule yo begin.

Currently at 36.784990 per hour. Haven't seen the pay structure yet. Will keep posted.

If you're currently just testing then it just that. There is no mandatory vaccination requirements. Whatever transits current policy is in place is for all departments, not just for one. Everyone must wear mask while on transit property and in service. Currently the class is out on their own, and some are still training in other positions. No other updates other than just a wait for the next group to be called in. So please stand by as time passes and more dispatchers retire.

There are about 15 or so TA wanting to transfer to Staten Island. Including this class and anyone else who put in a transfer before hand. No other classes are scheduled as of now.

1st day of dispatcher class 19 TOTAL Not sure how many TA/OA/MTA BUS Last known list number for TA test in class is no 66. 4 weeks of scheduled classroom time. So far we've been scheduled for Sun-Thurs with various time to report. Good luck to this class and all future dispatchers.

Sep 10th medical Sep 19th classes In between you're still in service. Better hope you're able to put in some ava or vac days to keep you out the seat, but with short notice hard to get them off. So yes another week or so of operating.
