  1. The issue with the B20's terminus at GMF is that it lacks any usage there. Cutting the B20 back to New Lots saves wasteful mileage and would eliminate duplication of the B13 which the second one is one of the main reasons why it underperforms. The B20 is only used to relieve the B83 and provide coverage along Decatur/Schaeffer/Summerfield Streets. The bulk of the B20's usage is between Broadway Junction and the Linden Houses. I have also said this many of times said that the only bus route that is necessary at the Postal Facility is the B13. Having the B14, B15 short turns (although those are getting pulled out), and B20 got here as well is over serving the area. Most people at GMF want the B13 anyways
  2. So you want a bus route that goes from deep within SI to Sheepshead Bay? Really now.....
  3. I have now unveiled my restructuring plan for the B20. But first things first, why I'm proposing this. The B20 is a route which is almost like some kind of short-turned spinoff of the B13 (at least that's what I think). However the B20 in it's current form isn't sufficient, especially the portion on Fresh Pond Road. No one on Fresh Pond Road wants the B20, they either use the Q58 or B13. The only people that use B20s on Fresh Pond Road are mostly riders who can use either the B13 or B20 (whichever came first). The southern terminal of the route is also a problem. It ends dead at the Postal Facility which just like Fresh Pond Road and it's northern terminus at Forest Avenue is also served by the B13. So this was how I restructured it. But before I explain, I have to add it will involve a minor change to the B83. -The B20 would be taken off Fresh Pond Road and instead pan down Myrtle Avenue and terminate at the Ridgewood Terminal via the Q55's routing. -On the southern end, it would be truncated to New Lots as no one uses it at the Postal Facility or along Linden Boulevard and to save mileage. -The B83 bus would be straightened to stay on Pennsylvania Avenue instead of detouring onto Van Siclen Avenue -As of Van Siclen Avenue bus service, instead of the B83 utilizing it, the B20 would. It would make that left turn onto New Lots Avenue and then a right onto Van Siclen Avenue. It then makes a left onto Wortman Avenue resuming it's existing routing until Ashford/Linden. Instead of making a right on Linden, it would stay on Ashford and terminate with the B6. It would help eliminate the B20's redundancy to the B13 which is a major reason why it underperforms north of Broadway Junction. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=204309787698206762506.0004ea12fa065c0ed0795
  4. I'll draw it on google maps later and explain it there. But one thing that needs to be done is take that route off Fresh Pond Road. That route gets no riders as people on Fresh Pond Road either want the B13 or Q58. Anyone at FP that uses the B20 was looking for a B13 but the B20 came first so they took it instead. But it's only 1-2 riders usually. The B20's end points at Forest Avenue and Postal Facility are also both served by the B13 plus that is more direct so no one would take the B20 in Ridgewood or in Spring Creek.
  5. I actually planned on restructuring that route. But as for now to answer that question the New Lots Avenue station.
  6. That B14 idea I actually like. There is no reason to have it end at Postal Facility as no one uses it there. Tbh the only route that should serve the Postal Facility is the B13. Just have it stay on Sutter until Cross Bay where it would then turnaround using Cross Bay -> Rockaway Boulevard -> 94 Street (which merges into Cross Bay Boulevard). The buses would drop off at the NB Q7, Q11, Q21, Q41, Q52, Q53 stop. They would pick up on 94 Street where the former Q21 terminus was before it got extended up Woodhaven. Also unlike the B12 on Liberty, the B14 extension wouldn't be duplicative as it doesn't go to Broadway Junction.
  7. No because it's duplicative and Liberty has no demand for bus service west of Cross Bay Boulevard. I mean if it failed before, what makes you think your proposal would work. Just use the or Q24.
  8. No point in lying about it anymore. I initially denied being Q90 for personal reasons.....
  9. 1. That was to serve the Stapleton Waterfront 2. Simple: listen to people when they give you constructive criticism
  10. Except I have changed from that, this is what none of you seem to get.
  11. LOL.....And the worst thing is that QJT comes with proposals that make no sense yet he has the nerve to come up with immature BS to people that make proposals more logical than his.
  12. Question is why do you bother? Ever since you've joined here you have been posting beyond ridiculous proposals. I mean, you don't know the first thing you're talking about. All you do is go "Ohh why not combine x route with x route or extend x route to x location." Do you even consider the demand on bus routes before you make a proposal of them? And don't even bring up that "my planning style is different." NYC is not a place where you can have routes that are hundreds of miles long or stay on highways. And your posts are immature and are uneducated. You just post retarded crap that no one can understand and you tell them to "read" if they want to understand it. They did read it, it's you that needs to type properly. You need to start acting more mature and come up with more realistic proposals and maybe you wouldn't look like a childish idiot.
  13. Coming from the guy who wanted to combine the Q26 and the Q77 or send the Q31 up the Throgs Neck to Westchester Square. Think you should heed your own advice and on a side note, quit the immature posting. It doesn't make you look funny or cool.
  14. How about an S87 that runs between Bay Ridge and St. George. I have always found it intriguing that there was no one seat ride between the two areas, especially considering that St. George is one of the major areas people travel to in Staten Island. This S87 would also directly serve the Stapleton Waterfront which is under development. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=204309787698206762506.0004e9e8f459dcc51d817
