  1. This won't be the case for long, but the 8th avenue line is the only one where all services runs local at some point during the service day. All others have services that never run local (the (3), (Q) (but not for long though it is the case now), (B), (D) and (5) trains). The (A) train runs local during the early morning, which is why this is the case until December.

    (2) because, excluding a few rush hour trippers, terminates at the same two locations (Flatbush Avenue and Wakefield-241 St.) 24/7. All of the other routes are shortened or don't run at all at some time in the week. Also the only line that is not scheduled to terminate in manhattan at any time.
