  1. They really should've finished tiling the walls and installing the proper lights before opening. I hope those lights on the 72nd Street side are temporary because they don't match the rest of the station. Also, if anyone got one of the brochures, it incorrectly states that this station has USB ports.

Anyways, here's a before and after video:

  2. 5 hours ago, Calvin said:

1939 was also another unit swapped out of the 4. It's also seatless currently mated with 3 other cars with ADs on the inside/outside of the car.

1923 (1903 was mentioned twice): 1907 was previously seen mated with a redbird.

My mistake. I meant 1923 in my original post.

  3. 1931-1927-1904-1952-1940 was transferred to Westchester to replace 1921-1922-1925 which was used for the SAP seatless test and moved to Livonia for Shuttle service. Why they didn't choose 1923 instead of 1904 is beyond me. 1901-1903, 1905, 1906, 1908, 1910 and 1903 remain at Corona for now.

  4. Guys was riding the (7) this morning and I passed the R142A/R188M that has the led rings, and the first car towards Hudson Yrds (7509 I think) had a completely new sign which was all orange.

Sign seems to be in (mostly) working order now lol.

  5. The movie trailer was more likely a test program than a program for the 179. Remember that there were a ton of testing computers installed on 3050, so a tech probably started playing some random footage to see what the playback on the FIND would look like. It also wasn't scaled properly. Then again, I could be wrong and we could very well see advertisements and trailers shown on the 179 FIND.

  6. It is highly unlikely Flushing CBTC goes online on Tuesday seeing how there are several trains of R188s with no adapter leading. The cars with no adapter also don't have the main computer components installed, they just have the computers which operate the doors and CBTC screen. (The most logical reason they spec'd them this way is probably because of the C car, which they are probably regretting with all the recent incidents). In addition the R62As that are on the 7 now makes the probability of CBTC going online Tuesday very small. But who knows, maybe it will happen.
