  1. There is literally no reason to assign posters just because someone posts something false. 1. Buses move in and out of retirement all the time 2. Mistakes happen 3. When you keep being told something isn't confirmed retired because of certain things it should be common sense it isn't And quite frankly imo there's no difference between a bus at Zerega or Eastchester besides the fact that one houses pending scrap and the other holds new or oos/training buses.
  2. For clarification purposes, 4631-4655 are 2010 units built in 2009.
  3. It's not a point about $$, it's a point about mismanagement. If yk you need to fix something, it needs to be planned in advance. See that bold part? That's exactly why they are in the predicament they are in. Ever since the Cuomo era, they been playing politics to get what they want. They acting more like a party that wants look good in order to run for reelection instead of an actual transit agency, and especially as of lately it's getting obvious to the public eye. It might not be their fault, but they far from anything not corrupt.
  4. All these depots falling apart and they more worried about things like congestion pricing and catching people who don't pay. Not to say don't, but when your main focus is money and politics it adds up for sure. Don't even get me started on how they was about to try and charge marathon runners for going on the verazanno bridge and it was so bad even hochul had to overturn it. Ridiculous....
  5. Speaking of new AEB, what ever happened to the LFSE+/Van hool test orders? It's not to sound impatient, but I thought they would have been delivered by now.
  6. Report that to the MTA with an email or tag on Twitter. The more people do this the sooner the MTA realizes they can't be playing slick to try and get what they want. If it's not mentioned on the Queens Bus redesign group I'm part of, I'll definitely give it a mention.
  7. Today is the first day where all FR routes have at least one LFS in service. This includes: Q11: 9037 Q21: 9022 Q22: 9028 Q35: 9029, 9068 Q41: 9052, 9063
  8. They can take studies from the Brooklyn redesign and implement it by the time the Queens redesign is ready. Technically, the Brooklyn final plan needs to be ready before any implementations, but that doesn't mean they won't be implemented after the Queens redesign. Hearings still need to be held regardless of the borough, so there's plenty of time to announce changes if there needs to be any.
  9. The only changes regarding Brooklyn routes is the service in Queens and changes that involves Queens routes, even if they touch Brooklyn. This includes: Splitting the B24 to the B53/Q68 Q24 from Bushwick to Broadway Junction being replaced by the B53 B32 discontinued and replaced by the B53/B62 B57 extension to Jackson Heights B62 extension to Astoria Unless the MTA makes an announcement or the final plan is updated, these changes will be in conjunction with the Queens redesign. Separate note, people forget how the M100 was changed despite not being a Bronx route. It'll be the same concept for the above routes.
  10. It's been established that CP has a rotation of 4-5 NG units from LG, thus unnecessary to keep posting these loans
  11. Slightly off topic, is there any update to the AEB coach units? Always thought these would (indirectly) replace the 08 CTs (later replaced by the 2026 prevost)
  12. Literally what we been saying all along, loans. It's the same situation as TU. Buses will be sent there for X days, then go back to their home depot, sometimes with a decal slapped onto it. Seems like CP will have around 4-5 units on rotation with LGA
  13. I was thinking something like that; the S62 short turn to CSI would be incorporated into the new route.
  14. Just any admin ban him and I'll be good. Guy getting out of pocket and disrespecting admins now.
  15. If possible I would like to see the BRT connect to a Staten Island bus local redesign. Combining the proposed 2012 plans and the (more recent) S40/40A plans, I could see something like this take place: S40 cut back from Amazon, a new S5x route is created between Amazon and Arlington via teleport A branch of the S44 (maybe S94) via the busway/S59 extension to St George S53 westward extension to Arlington S54 Eastward extension to St George A revamped S66 via the busway instead of Victory Blvd Slight modifications of the S90 to operate between Amazon and St George via the busway, possibly operating a similar pattern to the S93 (running during peak hours and during scheduled shifts)
  16. I do not have 9006 registered to the system OR the tracker.
  17. Guys, if it's an obvious loan like Bronx artic to Manhattan or LGA buses to CP, there's really no point to keep posting them. Don't know why I have to say it but I do.
  18. Point still stands, even with HRV use, it's still impossible to make yard space I mentioned LRV bc the study never mentioned anything about HRV usage to my knowledge; HRV between Port Richmond and St George is nearly impossible or will be extremely expensive.
  19. Idk how you manage to propose some of the most absurd things, but I doubt we can squeeze LRT onto a small mainline rail yard (by FRA regulations). Another thing I also failed to see you note is how would there be access to Clifton if the only way to access it is by street operations (where traffic is beyond flooded with buses) or sharing track with SIR (which you gotta figure out how to connect HRV with LRV safely, not even mentioning the power source we plan on using, as third rail is almost impossible for LRV use).
  20. Jeez I knew there was a reason I stay away from the subway side of the forums. Now I feel obligated to point out the difference between the pilot and prototype trains. Pilot: testing out a brand new model to make sure there are not any faults in the production models that would delay delivery of the train Prototype: testing BRAND NEW FEATURES that were never introduced before, specifically to the public, getting feedback, and incorporating it to a future design. Common sense would also indicate that there is no need for a 30 day test for a train that only consists of one or two full length train.
  21. It should be noted that as of today's bus committee presentation, it's said that the 60 AEBs (4965-5024) is underway for acceptance for 4 depots. That means there is another cut besides Jamaica depot. Most likely the cut depot is Charleston or ENY as the other 3 have tested a kind of XE bus, the latter I'm going with bc I'm not sure ENY finished with construction with their own projects there yet.
