I seen a photo of LFS 8503 and it got new hanover destination signs instead of the Axion display.

It's had those signs since at least June 2021 fyi

On another note, #8964 entered service on the Q112 earlier today. Excited to see more of those buses on the MTA Bus routes.

4952 is back at Quill from KB Depot.

Just to update this info, 4952 and 4957 are back at KB, and both buses were on the M100 today. Apparently the charger at KB had issues, so they went back over the weekend to recharge at Quill.

    4957 is also a Kingsbridge

So apparently #4957 made a round trip on the M100 this morning...

Not sure if it's indicative of anything, but there's a chance those XE60s could run on more KB routes. There's also a chance that both buses could've been sent back to Quill... I guess we'll see what happens.

When did they start running artics on the Q110? I saw 5409 on the line yesterday.

They've been running on the Q110 occasionally since BP got them in 2016. Not every day, but mainly during the rush hours. They tend to also show up on the Q64, though that happens more frequently than the Q110 runs.

8379, 8398 KB to MV, parked in MV, unclear if it will be in revenue service at this time

They both have KB labels. It's only there just to park the buses at MV. I have no clue whether or not it will go back to KB later on.

These are also back at KB, both on the Bx13 and Bx10

Wasn’t the Concourse express project fixed already? Why are (D) trains still running local because of “major structural repairs”?

Structural work between Kingsbridge and BPB. Instead of working on it when the line was shut down last year and over the weekends, they decided to close the express track again 🙄

Feels like we haven't had express service up here in ages... they wrapped up the last project nearly a month ago, it's crazy...

How does it make less sense?

In the past the (J) has gone to Prospect Park to provide alternate service for the (4) and (5). In this instance, extending either the (J) or (M), and I’d rather the (M) since it’s shorter, will provide whoever’s going to Culver with alternate service from Essex St to the entire 4th Ave Line,

    That's comparing apples to oranges.

With the (J) supplementing the (4)(5), the affected area was between Manhattan and Brooklyn (namely Brooklyn Bridge and Atlantic Avenue). It makes sense in that case to send a (J) between those two stops, as folks can transfer to the (J) to connect between those two stops.

With the (F) suspension, the affected area is within Brooklyn, between Church Avenue and West 8th Street. The (N) is either within walking distance or a quick bus ride away from most (F) stops in that section, so it makes sense to redirect them there. Running it local allows for a connection at 4th - 9th, which means that those customers between Church Avenue and West 8th now have easier access to stops in Park Slope and Gowanus, rather than having to backtrack to Downtown Brooklyn or further north just to go back down.

Extending the (J) and (M) down to 9th Avenue does nothing for those folks, because they don't need a connection from Manhattan to Brooklyn. They need service within Brooklyn. It would really only work if those trains ran further south, which isn't feasible given the current crew shortage.

Whoever is doing the CPTDB editing still has it retired, that’s why I said it.

If it's a CPTDB issue, mention it on CPTDB. They have a page on their forums for the MTA, which they use to update those wiki sites. They pull some of their info from here, but this forum ain't the place to fix their roster 🤷‍♂️

I'm reading online that NYP is still a far more popular destination than GCM for LIRR riders so far.

I wonder if LIRR was expecting a 50/50 balance between NYP and GCM terminals in terms of ridership.

Twitter is going off on the schedule changes, it's honestly hilarious.

I've been noticing during the rush, there can be upwards of up to 100 people IN EACH CAR of a train going to Penn Station or Atlantic Terminal. However someone posted a pic of just 5 people in one car of a train to Grand Central in the morning.

I know that full service just started two days ago, but the disparity is astonishing.
