  1. ........ interesting I’m going to say something about this rumor and it’s something that you may not like to hear. CS is supposed to be closing. There’s no way that the Q12 is supposed to be considered to artic conversion and or implementation at this time. Also, where are you going to get buses from. Right now there’s no extra artics to accommodate for this.
  2. The top statement is a lot more accurate. Nothing to be confused about. If the Moderator(s) or any high level personnel on the board did not mention about this than DO NOT RUN WITH IT. It only leads to confusion. Although bus drivers are the core of the agency. There are just things you cannot take to fruition. Let everything work itself out!
  3. I wouldn’t believe that rumor yet unless there’s true confirmation. The 38/58 conversion is supposed to happen.. However, this Q12 thing is something different. Let’s see what comes down the pike on this one.
  4. Here’s the deal. All of this (they) supposed to get this and that is not flying at all. DOB determines the allotments and for what uses. Right now everything is a mess and as of last night there are more changes to the XD60 order. It gets crazier by the week. It’s going to be a bumpy ride this summer into September.
  5. That’s a bit of a deadhead Quill and Gun Hill having these SBS routes. Glad this practice hasn’t hit down to Flatbush but again we are dealing with the DOB. It would make sense for MHV to have the 96SBS and doesn’t need to have artics like the 46SBS at FB.
  6. Your a little over 2 weeks late with that reporting. That bus came from Jamaica.
  7. I like your analogy on maintenance 😂🤔. However, @WestFarms36 pretty much sum up what i wanted to say. However, just like vehicles. Buses have to be maintained. Don’t complain when your bus breaks down.
  8. It’s been like that for a few weeks. Might be a slight malfunction on the sign. Maybe a FB op can jump in and confirm the issue with 7483.
  9. ........ The whole Queens Division is like this
  10. ..... Accountability is what the practices. In this situation I think 🤔 NOT!
  11. Agreed! Amsterdam could create some balance in the Upper Manhattan Division. Without the museum fleet how much can AMS hold?
  12. I had to read this 2x and I fully agree with this. 2002 definitely messed up everything between TA Brooklyn Division and MaBSTOA. Leadership never took action to address those underlying issues within the divisions.
  13. To me I never liked the Jamaica/Hillside/117th stop. Having the route extended at least to Jamaica-Van Wyck makes it a bit easier for the , also with a stop for 121 would make things OKAY for the 55. The only interline I know for the 55 is Ridgewood (correct me please) or any Fresh Pond op that’s on this board. What is the interline for the Q55? There should be no reason that the weekends it’s 20 min headways and buses are flowing in at 40 minutes. This clearly reminds me of Grand Avenue and their mismanagement of the B13, B15, B43 and B47. 3 of those forementioned routes went back home to their respective depots meanwhile the 47 has those similar headways and is treated by 40 min headways with 3 buses going in one direction.
  14. Queens Division winners and losers in this round of service cuts. Winner: LGA Netural: CP Loser: Fresh Pond (Brooklyn Division)-Q54 No Change: Jamaica, Queens Village, Baisley Park, Stengel. Staten Island Division winners and losers. Since the express buses are mostly shared by all the depots in the division everyone is a winner and neutral in this round of cuts. However, for local bus service. Winner: CAS (S51) Loser: Charleston (S74, S78) Netural: None No Change: Yukon. ... and this concludes the winners and losers for summertime bus service cuts. Next review: August/September 2019.
  15. Copy that. That’s what I wanted to know what they wanted to do on the property. Good looking on the information. You don’t mind me asking when the community visioning will be complete?
  16. I’m going to stop you right there. Yukon Maintenance is OK. However, those buses Yukon sent to Flatbush and Quill went right to the shop when they were transferred and while in service experienced road calls. So let’s cut the notion that Yukon Maintenance has gotten better. Maintenance is OKAY!
  17. To me honestly. MCH should of only gotten the M15 and M35. 100th has no business working the 15 local and the 14A&D. 15 should be full-time local and SBS for MCH. This is why the division to me is so crowded. However, I have to remember that the DOB runs this operation and they are the experts to what routes are suited for the division. Im just the kid that sees things differently and gotta understand that politics play a role in these decisions.
  18. Part of this is like the TA did wrong by closing two-six. We’ve said this in the past that the whole division is screwed up. If the TA spent more money on maintaining facilities we wouldn’t have issues of two-six closing creating a some what balance in the Upper Manhattan Division with the 15/96/106/116 to two-six Thats the biggest downfall for the TA by not addressing the issue at two-six. When Hudson and West Side closed it was bad but not to the magnitude like two-six.
  19. Here’s the thing that boggles me and this is the fault of the DOB. Why have buses deadhead extremely crosstown to operate the 35 where as you have 100th, and MCH within minutes of each other. Hell, I don’t even know why the M96/106/116 are all at MHV mean while 100th is right near all those routes. I get it that is for run distribution for MHV and the division. The whole Manhattan Division is a complete mess. You know it better than me @EastFlatbushLarry
  20. To me honestly.. The 35 should of went to 100th or MCH instead of Quill.. DOB preference & Politics.. PS: 126th closed a long while ago. I wonder what they is going to do with that building.. Manhattan Division is already crowded. The division definitely needs another depot. Possibly re-activate Amsterdam. However, things are a bit complex in regards to Amsterdam. Soon enough the Brooklyn Division will be crowded or if not already..
  21. Nice capture. Spring Creek is always short. Honestly and truthfully TA needs to get rid of the CNG at Spring Creek. I know it’s easier said and done. But they are always borrowing from BP and JFK. I haven’t seen SC borrow from College Point recently.
  22. Copy ATM. However, sometimes the TA doesn’t like to stick with the 12-15 year guidelines. You are correct with the 2036 retirement and I won’t dispute that.
