  1. My error in the Brand name, But the bus I was behind was Artic 5486 and the 2 Artics going in the opposite direction were also Artics, same model.
  2. Thursday, I was driving behind 5486 on the N.Y.S. Thruway going south from Albany to New Brunswick, NJ. What was interesting was the fact that I saw 2 New Artics which had no side numbers on them going Northbound on the Thruway. I saw those 2 around Exit 18.
  3. That Brand New--New Flyer Artic sitting on the front apron of the Albany Garage is actually 5518 & is painted in the Bus Plus Color Scheme.
  4. There is a Brand new--New Flyer Artic painted in the Bus Plus Color Scheme [ # ???? ] sitting in the outside on the front apron of the Albany Garage, it's parked nose in.
  5. Another New Gilig = 4182, in service Wednesday on the 116 Route.
  6. I also saw 4151 as well. I believe that it might be 4150 and up might have it, don't know for sure, but I do know that4149 does not have it. Also 5516-17 do not have it either.
  7. Add 9920 to the Out Of Service LFS Nova Buses. 1 by 1 they are going. Also, there is an New Flyer Artic sitting unused in the front apron area, not sure of the number [6009 ? ] . I know that it has not been moved because it still has snow all over the roof.
  8. The two LFS Novas Out of Service out back are 9923 & 9935. With regards to the back up camera buses, the lowest number that I have seen with the camera is 4155.
  9. Actually, I have not noticed, I will take closer notice and report back.
  10. More New Gilligs in Service = 4177--4180. Still only those 2 LFS Novas out back.
  11. Correction on the LFS-Nova Buses--Out of Service, They are 9923 & 9933. On a positive note, the LFS Nova assigned to Sheriff Craig Apple, that disappeared from the Albany Garage's Yard, is alive and well. Saw it running down Central Avenue yesterday @ 5pm.
  12. Another New Gillig In service = 4176. The Other LFS Nova Out of Service Appears to be 9956.
  13. The Gilligs are 2018 Models. At this time, I can not confirm Artic 6009, Have not personally seen it. Highest I have seen is 6007.
  14. More New Gilligs: 4171-4175. Another 99xx LFS Nova--Out Of Service, could not get the number. Sad to say but Looks like their in service days are really numbered now. Wonder which one will be the final one in service ?
  15. As a Command / Pioneer Historian, I object to their place in history being ignored.
  16. Your response to my post, is totally ludicrous. If you really believe that scrapping 1 bus "saved the MTA from financial ruin" then you are kidding yourself.
  17. I am outraged that 4904 is being scrapped because this now leaves Command Bus Company without representation in the museum bus fleet. I am sure that the late/great Alan Bromberger is turning over in his grave. It's a shame that one of their original 96 inch RTS's like 351 or one of their Ex-CDTA Flxibles or GM Decks could not have been saved. I do intend to contact one of the Department of Buses Vice Presidents about this issue. It is a travisty of justice.
  18. LFS Nova 9923, Out Of Service Parked in the Back Area reserved for Out Of Service Buses. Sad to say They are going one by one. Also the Orion 1 is still MIA.
  19. The Orion Bus that was parked in the back of the Albany Garage has been moved. Not Sure where to, but I can tell you that it's not in the scrap yard that is next door to their property.
  20. It appears as if 4120-4127 Have been transferred to Troy.
