  1. a few of the Bee-Line NABIs have this. Its loud and very very annoying
  2. The Bx24 would cover a section of. Bailey Ave that is not used by any bus at all. It'd provide a quicker route from Riverdale/Kingsbridge to Fordham than the Bx9, and it would provide direct service from Riverdale Ave/HH Pkwy to Fordham as well as adding a little bus service in the Fieldstone Rd section of Riverdale. It would just need a new number now
  3. The former Bx24 would work today as a rush hour supplement similar to the Bx20
  4. I got a question for y'all. If I were to get a monthly Metro North pass on the Harlem line for say from White Plains to 125th St. Would I be able to use that pass on the Hudson or New Haven Line if it were in the same fare zone or less?
  5. The 22 extension to 238th would provide a much much faster route from that area to Fordham Plaza than the Bx9
  6. How many people use the Bx22 extension to Paul & 205th. I feel like it could be rerouted a bit to serve more people Maybe extend it to 238th & Bway via Kingsbridge, Goulden, Reservoir, Sedgwick, Ft Independence, 238
  7. Yep. Very slow. But remaining on 205th would speed it up a little bit in an area where it makes way too many unnecessary turns
  8. Just checked that page. Turns out this isn't my exam. It was from 2013. Mine was in 2014
  9. I've been on buses on the West Side Highway before. They just can't use the HH Bridge. And the reason for the BxM2 stopping at Inwood is only because it would pass right through it just to get to the WSH
  10. The BxM2 needs to strictly stay on the west side. How about it uses the West Side Highway for a change between Dyckman & 79th. They can make stops in Inwood just like the BxM1 and still have a faster run than the current BxM2. The BxM1 can pick up the defunct BxM2 stops by Mt Sinai the Bx10 needs a little shakeup around Bedford Park. I think it should remain on 205th from Goulden to Jerome, not touch BPB at all. 1. It speeds up the ride rapidly 2. it still connects to all the buses & trains in that aerea Bx22, 26 & 28 at Paul Ave & 205th. Bee-Lines on Jerome 4 train at Mosholu Pkwy. what is there to lose?
  11. Does the Bee-Line have exams for their positions like the MTA?
  12. How do you find the results of the Bus Operator test from 2014 (November 15)?
  13. The needs weekend service like it did in 2000. It's more frequent than the which can't handle the CPW local service by itself. it sometimes even has better service than the
  14. Who likes the idea of combining the Q32 and Q33 into one route also extending the Q66 into Manhattan right over the bridge truncating the Q32 at 42nd St/5th Ave introducing a wall street variant of the QM3
  15. I really like Gotham's idea. have the BxM1 use 5th Ave via Mt Sinai, then 96th to Lex. have the BxM2 run via Inwood, stop at 207th, then go Dyckman to the HHP down to 79th, then swing over to Coulmbus/Amsterdam and downwards
  16. Question for any of you: When will the next Metro North employment exam come out?
  17. I've decided that the Bx10 should not be combined with the 34 but instead shortened by Lehman College, and stay on 205th St from Goulden all the way to Jerome. Would speed up a lot of time doing that. Can still connect to the Bx22, 26 & 28 at Paul & 205th. Still connects to the and the Bee-Lines by Mosholu Pkwy.
  18. wasnt there a time when the Bx10 followed the Bx1 via Sedgwick/Heath to 231st? If so, why was that changed?
  19. so I think a few routes could use a little tweaking. Bx34..... gone. Bx28.... Rush hour limited stop service introduced northeast of Norwood. Bx38... extended to Fordham Center to replace the Bx34. Bx10, rerouted and extended to Woodlawn to replace the Bx34. from Bedford Park, north on Concourse, east on Van Cortlandt, north on Bainbridge, current Bx34 routing. Bx7, cut to 207th Street only, replaced by M100a via Broadway, while M100b uses 10th Ave.
  20. I think we should start a Throggs Neck Shuttle in the Bronx. connects with the at Parkchester, Castle Hill Ave, Zerega Ave, & Westchester Square. Then splits off, running down Tremont Ave stopping at Bruckner Blvd, Randall Ave, Dewey Ave, and Schurz Ave.
  21. the least snobbiest bronx express routes are the BxM3 and BxM4. heck, you can get a bus to yourself on them at times
  22. let me just say a subway to Port Washington, LI would never do. thats what the LIRR is for
  23. last Friday night the was going local when we took it from Grand Central to 86th Street.
  24. A man robs a thrift store in Chinatown and runs from the police into the Canal St Station and through the tunnels over the Manhattan Bridge. Police shut down the Manhattan Bridge during rush hours for an investigation. Lines Affected:
