  1. Hey Guys, I'm list #17**.I was called back in November 2018 for my first PE. I just landed a great gig and was curious how I go about delaying my being called for 6 months to a year and still maintaining my list#. Any ideas?
  2. Hey Men, I Just received This email from Ms. Vargas on Friday, February 15. Just to ease everybody's nerves a little: We just have to stick it out a little and be patient. "Good morning, The last number hired for Train Operator is list # 860. At this time we do not have any class dates. You can get an update the middle of April with the future class dates. Thank you, Michelle Vargas"
  3. Hey folks, I went in of Friday 11/30, did my P/E and first drug test. List #170*. we were given a "homework packet" when we left containing that DCAS 21 page application. This is my question: I am a "non New York City" resident living in Yonkers, NY. As I read the homework it looks like I'm ineligible. Will living in Yonkers deem me ineligible for the TO position? I guess I have to call in tomorrow to make certain. Lemme know...
  4. Hey men, Just got called in for pre-employment 11/30/2018. List #17**
  5. Very cool. I'm List #16**. Fingers crossed! I'm hoping next few months. We'll see! Good Luck!
  6. Hey Men, How do you find out what list # is being called currently? Rumor has it that guys are being called even though the list hasn't been established. Thanks.
  7. Thank you guys! I took the exam on Sunday. Comprehension intense! Read carefully. Choose keywords. No landmarks though but a few train map questions as in track merges and crossovers in the yard. Find the best routes from the picture provided.
  8. Hey folks, I'm scheduled to take the T/O exam #7604 on May 31st,2017. I went out and bought the green and yellow Passbook Train Operator study guide. The sample tests in this book are as though you're already in "schoolcar" training. For example, the number of horn blasts when passing through stations as well as various air brake pressures depending on the situation. These questions cannot be on the open competitive exam because newbies weren't trained in these things. Are there any guides for preparation just for the open competitive exam? I can't find any help. Please advise, Boomer815
