Planned Subway Service Changes
jasonbxny0619 replied to TheSubwayStation's topic in New York City Subway
It's interesting to see this weekend the running to/from 168th Street, the last time that we had the run via CPW local line was several months ago and the announcement said "This is a 145th Street bound Local Train via the Line" voice by Velina Mitchell who happens to be the voice of the transfer to the M14SBS along 14th Street -
Why would i do that because the only purpose is to gain viewers no thank you

I demanded a answer from Dr H but he indicated me that he couldn't provide me with a answer because all the work done is underground not above ground

Yes Michael Horodniceanu aka Dr H is in change and i was in Mondays meetings and he was hiding from people like me that know the truth but they still say December 2016, but they are lying in our faces again

For the shutdown there's a chance that the will go to 96th Street via the 2nd Avenue line or to it's weekday terminus that is Forest Hills-71st Avenue, obviously we will have the B39 in steroids, Ferry service between 20th Street and Williamsburg, both M14 converted in to SBS, the M23 that by then will be SBS, free out-of-system transfer between Broadway & Lorimer Street , Junius Street & Livonia Avenue & full length cars on the , and there's a possibility of having out-of-system transfer between 7th Avenue-14th Street ,6th Avenue-14th Street & 8th Avenue-14th Street . But the shutdown won't happen until January 2019, more coming up

Yesterday we learned that 2 important projects are going to be delayed: The 2nd Avenue Subway & the CBTC installation on the Flushing Line. And the MTA is still betting on December 2016, but people like my own self & publications like 2nd Avenue Sagas & Gothamist agree with me in this one & regarding the CBTC installation on the Flushing Line the MTA is saying that would be delayed because of software issues and it won't be until 3rd Quarter 2017 that the CBTC will be fully functional on the on other words 7 years after the contract was initially awarded. The MTA has a lot of explanation to provide and tomorrow Wednesday will be the full board meeting let's see what happens then, if you want to join me the board meeting is a 10:30am in the MTA HQ in Lower Manhattan right across from Bowling Green & trains. Ill keep you guys posted http://web.mta.info/mta/news/books/pdf/160725_1345_CPOC.pdf http://web.mta.info/mta/news/books/docs/IEC_Jul_2016_CPOC_Presentation_SAS_FNL_072116.pdf http://web.mta.info/mta/news/books/docs/MTACC_July_2016_CPOC_Report_SAS_07-21-16_FINAL.pdf

Countdown Clocks on the Astoria Line
jasonbxny0619 replied to TheNewYorkElevated's topic in Subway Photos & Videos
The majority of them are used to tell the time and to make announcements about service changes. And i doubt seeing countdown clocks there anytime soon -
