  1. Delays Posted: 10/02/2018 11:56PM Northbound trains are running with delays because of signal problems at Cleveland St.
  2. What is going on with the brakes. Is this some sort of system-wide glitch?

  4. I wonder why they did skip stop, and not regular local and express service on the Brighton line
  5. There was some trouble on the train today. I caught one in Brooklyn going on the line manhattan-bound express. Anyone know why?
  6. If the is being delayed by the turnaround in Queens, wouldn't the be a good replacement for the in Bay Ridge, eve with low ridership.
  7. MTA Service Status Planned Work 42 Street Shuttle service operates overnight HUH?
  8. Its an old trolley terminal not a train storage facility.
  9. It looks like they just put up a new sign. PHOTOS: MTA Installing New W Train Signs in Chelsea Yes, the W train is really happening, and we have the photos to prove it. By Mark Osborne (Patch Staff) - October 17, 2016 12:08 pm ET ShareTweetGoogle PlusRedditEmailComments CHELSEA, NY — There's no going back on the W train now. The MTA was out bright and early on Monday morning installing signs for the upcoming re-debut of the W train. Patch caught MTA workers installing the signs at the 28th Street station just before 10 a.m. on Monday. The W train is not officially scheduled to return until Nov. 7. In the meantime, tourists will probably be very confused as to why there are N trains coming and not W trains. full article http://patch.com/new-york/chelsea-ny/photos-mta-installing-new-w-train-signs-chelsea
  10. Delays Posted: 10/19/2016 5:18PM Following an earlier incident at 14 St-Union Sq, service has resumed with delays.
  11. Service Change Posted: 10/19/2016 4:16PM Due to an investigation at 14 St-Union Sq, there is no train service between 8 Av and Bedford Av. As an alternative for service in Manhattan customers may use M14A and M14D local bus service. Customers may use , , and trains for service into Brooklyn. Allow additional travel time.
  12. There isn't a Burnside Avenue on the 6 train. You must have meant the 4, and it was probably going to the Concourse Yard, though I have no clue why it took that route. Was it on the express track?
  13. Why would they send the shuttle buses back a stop. Most people are presumably taking the train to and from Manhattan. Buses to Sutter Av and Junius St would make more sense.
  14. bu For people wanting a seat, there are still the same amount of seats on a bus. And for people exhausted from a day of work, waiting five minutes on a often crowded bus going nowhere is very frustrating.
  15. The stop at 78 and QB should be a drop-off only. The bus should then turn around on QB, and have the first stop on east-bound service be on union tpke. This would allow the buses to fill up already on UT, without passengers having to be on the bus as it turns around. There is already a stop on UT (by the courthouses), but buses often fill up at 78th and therefore dont stop there. Meaning in order for someone to fore sure be able to board, they must board at 78th and stay on the bus as it turns around on QB which often can take 5 or 10 minutes especially during PM rush-hour. I apologize if I was unclear earlier.
  16. The problem is that buses are full after the turnaround and often don't stop by the courthouses.
  17. If the first stop were after the turnaround you could get off the subway and transfer to a bus already on union tpke, which you would have missed had you needed to get on by Queens Blvd.
  18. how was the Q74 worse turning around on QB?
  19. Although there is nothing the MTA can do in order to fix the turnaround, they can have the first stop be after the turnaround, so that the bus can load there, without being full.
