  1. Ok so you did already get called for preemployment, you're waiting for your medical, correct? Medical I am pretty sure it's through e-mail, and it could take up to 90 days.
  2. Call 347-643-8229, asked to be transferred to Bus Operator 4600, and let them know you never received your preemployment. Happened to me and that's what I did, received a new preemployment appointment.
  3. Just an update for those waiting: list 71x, received medical for Tuesday.
  4. Imagine calling and asking: "did I pass my drug test?" LOL 😂
  5. Anybody know if there are there any other classes scheduled after August?
  6. 2 drug test already and the list has been out since February?
  7. It says: Type of Test - See the Selection Process Section Then in "Selection Process Section" it says: Applicants will be assigned a random list number that is generated electronically and as vacancies occur, they be scheduled to take the Bus Operator Selection Survey (BOSS). We anticipate the BOSS for this exam will be held intermittently beginning in December 2018 and throughout 2019. Applicants who successfully complete the BOSS and the following components of the employment process will be considered for employment in random list number order. 1. A driving record review 2. Drug test and medical assessment 3. Criminal and work record review (failure to disclose prior convictions may disqualify) Refer to the “Requirements to be Appointed” section of this notice, above, for additional information on conditions that must be met at the time of appointment. Does this mean there is no multiple choice exam? just the BOSS? Or is that how it usually is? I thought it was usually you took a multiple choice exam, then were called in by list number to take the BOSS? Anyone know?
  8. Just out of curiosity: If someone already did PE, can you still defer? Do I get to choose the date when I can defer to? Is the job guaranteed at this point? Assuming passed medical and drug exam? I only ask because I got a great job offer ($70k/yr starting off), but no job security. Just want to weigh my options.
  9. Good luck on your medical! Hope everything goes well and you get the job.
  10. Super strange thing. Not sure what they're up to. Maybe a mistake and it'll get taken off the page? A couple of weeks ago there were some exams there that got removed from the page last week. Maybe list 6600 got tossed for some reason? Highly unlikely though. I'm curious what's up. I doubt they need that many Station Agents...
  11. FYI fam, for those for don't think they have a shot at C/R, or even if you do and want more options, looks like some good exams are coming out: B/O - July 13 B/O - August 15 Station Agent - October 3 http://web.mta.info/nyct/hr/appexam.htm This page is usually subject to change, but just be on the lookout for those.
  12. Do you know if this is still true? Is there even an August class scheduled yet?
  13. They just make the T/O training so long and difficult to pass, and the job itself so stressful, which is understandable considering how many lives a T/O is responsible for. A lot of turnover at this position from what I'm seeing. I think almost everyone will get called.
  14. It'll all be worth the wait bro. For now lets just enjoy the summer, and then the holidays in November and December. It'll probably be the last summer and holidays we can enjoy for a while once we're in the MTA (God willing).
