I have two separate emails today for pre employment. I have three voicemails. And over 20 missed calls. The calls are not stopping. My list number is in the 500s.
Does anyone know if current employer is called as part of the background check? That will not go over well for me and will certainly lose my current job.
Does anyone know if the MTA calls current employer as part of pre employment verification process? I’m owed a few weeks back pay and would hate to lose that if the MTA calls as part of a background check.
Has anyone attempted to reschedule their OPA exam? And if so, what was the outcome?

According to the Notice of Examination for Exam No. 6601 the current minimum salary for conductors is $20.25 per hour for a 40-hour week, increasing to $28.94 per hour in the sixth year.
