  1. Thank you so much for your reply! I feel better now with that "temporary" term. About the health insurance benefit, will it cover my wife as well? She is a stay home mom. I know if insurance provided, it should cover children up to 26 years old if they are still dependent. I just want to make sure that my wife and children will be covered as well under the mta health benefit plan for temporary employees.
  2. I took this exam on 10/9 and received a letter this Wednesday for pre-employment process on next Monday. However, it is only a temporary position. I am hesitated for the term "temporary" as I've a very stable job for 15 years with full benefit and pension. If I take the risk for this temporary position, do I have chance to become permanent REM? As a temporary staff, do I qualify for health insurance benefit? These are my main concerns as I have to support of family of 4 with single income. By the way, on the motor vehicle license information form, it states "serious moving violations or accident record may disqualify. Therefore, list below all pending violations for traffic". I just received a camera speeding ticket in the mail today. My wife was the driver (we share one car), but I am the car owner. So the violation ticket is under my name. I think I also have another camera red light ticket which was over 6 years ago. Do I need to disclose these in the form? Any advice will be appreciated!
