  1. Is that the Sicklerville parking facility they were using when the MCI's were being delivered? Park Nation was it called?
  2. Neptune is actually part of Hamilton Twp. garage. Not (yet) a garage unto itself. It only has 20 full size NABI buses. 31-foot buses are just assigned to Egg Harbor Twp. and Morris garages, for the record.
  3. It’s an older panel - possibly harvested from an older MCI, as it has an older MCI logo.
  4. Over the past three years or so, I was using the Orto app to verify vehicle VINs from license plates. This has been extremely valuable in helping track the New York and New Jersey transit bus fleets. What made it especially attractive was that it allowed me unlimited look ups. Now, unfortunately, Orto is gone. Its creator has decided to no longer offer the service. The few VIN look up sites I have at my disposal now only offer maybe five look ups a day. So updates may not be as fast and furious as they once were.
  5. These buses have now moved over to NJT from Academy, garages to be determined: 21277, 21280-21281, 21292, 21294. Also, 21272 from Coach USA/Suburban.
  6. 22906 and 22907 were inspected two weeks ago. I was in Camden yesterday and didn't see any of the electric buses out and about.
  7. I'm now hearing that NJT is in the process of taking some of Academy's 21000-series buses back as well. Some units have been observed at the Leonardo bus facility stripped of Academy logos.
  8. 21271 and 21274 are there as well. Buses need Omnibus plates (Suburban uses Apportioned plates) and new inspections. No word on what garage is getting these coaches yet.
  9. Rockland Coaches has been putting their 21000 series D4500CT's back into circulation. Please get pix when you can because we still need to confirm all the fleet numbers. Thank you!
  10. Remember the New Flyer electrics for Newton Avenue? 22904 and 22905 have arrived and were inspected on 6/29.
  11. I can’t speak for them, but I do know that they’re getting some 18000 up north now. Westwood got some, I guess they’re gonna push some of the newer buses into Oradell to replace the few remaining 40 foot buses.
  12. They are closing Plattsburgh by 2025 and leaving the US bus market. NYC Transit is one of Nova's bigger customers in the US, so that's gonna leave some questions to be answered. Nova Bus changes its business model and ends bus production in the US - Novabus US
  13. Tracking for several weeks. It's painted in NJT livery and has plates, but needs inspection before it can go south. No inspections today due to Juneteeenth holiday.
  14. 17117 is on the 552 as of Monday noonish, so that might have just been for the weekend.
  15. I have an update on the migration of DeCamp coaches back to NJT. So far, NJT is concentrating on putting the 20 coaches that DeCamp still had active at the time of the shutdown back into service. These buses have all been registered. They are: 17072-17073, 17077, 17079, 17084-17085, 17089, 17091, 17099-17100, 17108, 17111-17112, 17114-17120 The other 30 (or 29? there may be one dead one) were not put back into service since the pandemic and will likely require more work to get them roadworthy again, but NJT is going to bank on the relatively low mileage of those coaches.
  16. It's an option off that contract, but they're going to be 2023 buses, so it must start with 23.
  17. There are five more sitting in St. Cloud but battery issues are holding them back. Seems to be a company-wide recall of some buses, and a slowing of deliveries. Meanwhile the last 60 of the diesel artics are supposed to be going on the line soon.
  18. Looks like we got 17076 visiting MCI in Blackwood for repairs, so NJT is going to try to get these buses back into the system ASAP.
  19. I'm told they're in a lot not far from Meadowlands Garage. I assume that NJT is going to be getting them back on the road in NJT paint. Maybe they can retire the last of the 40-foot cruisers, maybe they'll go South and relieve some of the mileage crunch down there.
