I saw a wrapped NABI on the way there while I was waiting for a bus in Howell. Hope everyone has a good time there.

24028-24030 inspected, and here's a surprise: 24029-24030 are going to Kearny Point.

No idea that bus is not at Washington Twp nor EHT.
might be Newton - inspection report says Camden City on it.

Whatever happened to 17110? Just got word it was indeed inspected in late May, but which garage has it?

Did all of them officially make it to NJT?
All of the 21000's are at NJT - no more privates in that series.

Just spotted 5348, a Wash Twp bus, in Asbury Park. Whazzup?

9025 likely retired from Wayne. Last tracked on June 28. If so, all the 2006 CLs are retired.
EDIT: resent to the right thread
Last of the 9000s in service. All the CATs are done. Next cruisers to go will be the CNG buses at Howell, but that won't be for a while.

17000's update! 17083, 17092 and 17093 were all inspected on 4/29 and are assigned to Washington Twp. This leaves only 17110 as the last DeCamp bus to be converted to NJT service.
And I have finally (FINALLY!) completed the task of matching fleet numbers to the unassigned VINs in the 21000 series of buses NJT took back from Rockland Coaches. It only took three years. The only bus that NJT took back of the 21000's that is still unregistered is 21248 (ex Suburban Transit) which is still getting fixed.

5348 was in Monmouth County doing the 831. 5573 was there a month ago but was returned. Are they short buses on those 830s routes?
They’ve had the same 20 buses in Neptune for years. I’m not quite sure if there were maintenance issues when Transdev or Veolia was running the show. I never rode them myself, but I know those Monmouth County buses have taken a beating.

Same goes for 19143, the other Newton unit that was loaned to Washington.
I can confirm 19143 running on the 317 this morning.

So apparently there are up to 60 XD60s at a lot near Fort Dix.
Is that the Sicklerville parking facility they were using when the MCI's were being delivered? Park Nation was it called?

Need VINs or plates. Still have not positively ID’d these coaches.

Neptune Garage former Transdev garage
Neptune is actually part of Hamilton Twp. garage. Not (yet) a garage unto itself. It only has 20 full size NABI buses.
31-foot buses are just assigned to Egg Harbor Twp. and Morris garages, for the record.

21245 rear end is repaired following the December 2021 fire. The new rear panel is a completely different design with MCI logo in the left upper, similar to the 7100s.
It’s an older panel - possibly harvested from an older MCI, as it has an older MCI logo.

Over the past three years or so, I was using the Orto app to verify vehicle VINs from license plates. This has been extremely valuable in helping track the New York and New Jersey transit bus fleets. What made it especially attractive was that it allowed me unlimited look ups. Now, unfortunately, Orto is gone. Its creator has decided to no longer offer the service. The few VIN look up sites I have at my disposal now only offer maybe five look ups a day. So updates may not be as fast and furious as they once were.

There was actually a call for bids for 200 more of the articulated buses. I wonder if that’s just the beginning of that order?
