  1. Did my p/e nov 5th. List 44*. Still haven’t received a letter for the medical. I feel I am so close. I hope I make it to the nov 26 class. Does anyone know if and when there will be other classes after the nov 26th class?
  2. Cool, All that does not sound hard at all. So far I passed the initial exam, passed the background check, and passed the attention exam. I am waiting for an interview and also to do all the medical and physical fitness stuff.
  3. Nice, congrats. What did the physical fitness obstacle course consist of?
  4. Just curious, have any one heard anything back from anybody about continuing in the process? Or are we all playing the same long waiting game?
  5. On the day we took the exam, the gentlemen in the front (an engineer instructor) said that the exam was To hire candidates for 2017. He also said that there would be three class in 2017 one In march, June, and October. On average, he said that each class consist of 12-15 trainees.
  6. I also got the email saying that I passed, on friday. Im so excited. I hope everything falls into place so that we can make it into the march class.
  7. Hey whats up guys. I am new to the forum. I as well have completed my background check and was also called to take the "Attention Exam" This week coming up. When I asked the recruiter, she said that the exam test your reaction time and your ability to stay alert. I also thinks that they will test to see if you have sleep apnea. I would assume that this is a new exam in lieu of all the train accidents that have occurred in the recent past. I read that they want to make sleep apnea testing an MTA wide thing not only a Metro North thing in which ALL ENGINEERS and CONDUCTERS must pass.
