Are we allowed to bring a backpack to orientation/training? I don’t want to take a chance and drive there to find no parking so I’m taking the train and I really don’t want to be carrying stuff in my hand.

So just finished the medical and final processing took me about 12 hrs. It was packed with people. When I spoke to one of the nurses she informed me that MTA is doing a mass hiring of people. My first day of class is nov 6th. I didn’t need to retake s drug test even though it was past 30 days since I took it. One of the ladies said they will be emailing out more people in the next 2 weeks who came in for preemployment so I assume there must be another class soon.

I’m also here finishing up my medical and final processing. I’ve been here since 7:30. Just to give people a heads up, anyone who received a preemployment letter and already did the drug test don’t come down here. They will send you home and tell you wait to get emailed. Also anyone who received a preemployment letter for cleaners were also sent home as there’s a job freeze. Let’s hope they don’t do the same for track workers. 1600’s and just like ebenz1 I received a letter today to start my preemployment process, but I was there on aug 21st as well. I think it’s just a mistake.

I also received an email to come by this Thursday for the medical. I received a letter at home as well.

So I took the drug test on the aug 21st and I was waiting to get call back for the medical. My list # is in the 1600’s do I need to go down and get reinstated? If anyone knows can you please help. This whole situation is confusing.

Hey I've been monitoring this forum since the very beginning. This is my first time posting. I went for the preemployment process on aug 21st but never heard back. I'm aware that after 30 days its required I take the drug test again. If anyone can answer me, how and when should I expect to be contacted about taking the medical? Is there a direct number I can call?
