Thanks. That question was for a friend. My next is how does one go from b/o to supt without dispatching and I’ve heard it is possible. Is it a who you know kinds of thing...or are there several kinds of material I haven’t gotten any info from any supt idk why it seems like a secret

What material can one study to become an ags if never worked for MTA before since this is a resume opening. I’ve heard it’s rare they hire without but not impossible. Any suggestions appreciated this is something of high interest.

During our class of 42, half was forced to SI, I was forced to pick Manhattan wishing for a bx depot, so far the commadary within the depot is cool, the lines are fairly easy and knock on wood my commute is free and easy to the depot. So I'm contemplating doing my probation yr here and maybe pic bx come the general pick in dec. let's see.

Two questions. How do you make that MONEY!! I'm hearing the lingo with ot and banking days and what not just wanna be well informed so I know how and #2 any study aids for dispatcher test, I applied because why not. Another option 3 yrs from now any help hit me up please.

Manhattan and Bx? That kinda got me feeling good since I had to pick into Manhattan or either get shipped to Staten Island, hopefully I get to pick the depot I want soon since I got classes coming after me.

for me training was somewhat intense. Everyone is different and so are the instructors. But they do want us to do and be clear of one thing. Safety! Some are easy going while hearing from others in my class very militant. Good luck. Any other questions feel free to ask.

any "job" and trust me on this all they will ever see us as is a #. So you do the same, make your numbers and do it safely don't let anyone break ya stride, do ya hours and make ya bread go home and chill. The job alone is stressful don't stress ya self out on things you'll have very little control over. Good luck.

Had my day one today. Jfk depot. Got trolley brake twice. On acute turns. Securing the bus and air brakes will be repetition hopefully I get it.

Went in Wednesday to get off medical hold, did drug same day and was called back for Friday final processing. Class Monday. So many obstacles but I didn't give up. Now to pass 7 day. Good luck everyone

i didn't ask but over heard July 10, had to fill out drug test and computer survey cuz of bp medication but they said next call will be final processing.

Got through today off medical hold. Had to do new drug test so just gotta wait on a call for that. Hopefully I get into the next class. Thanks for all the info from everyone.

Ok. So here's my dilemma, I was put on med hold for high bp & needed to take sleep apnea test as per Md. got my bp down now I just needed to see if I have SA. Did a take home test and just got results (negative) but as asked for a copy of polysomnography report I was informed that's only for in lab tests....question. Do I shoot my shot by going in with what I have from the test or do I call and plead my case hopping they clear me.

Do u have sleep apnea or just on hold to take the test to see if you actually have it, right now I'm on hold just to see if I have it. I went with a company who does the take home test and provides results dot compliance as well.

Same boat future. Looking for the take home, my bro did one I'll post the dr info but ran him 400. Insurance can cover but it was a wait for them to do it.

Just left Livingston. 5 hr wait just to be told to get a sleep apnea test on the safe side. Smh. So that rules me out for Monday's class. Anyone got a link where I can get it done asap.

Anyone know when the next class after June 12 is. I'm crossing my fingers I could get in going in tomorrow for bp reading.
