QM17ofTheRockaways

Sort of wanting to speak about this but I feel that the QM17 should at least have a few off-peak buses and Saturday service. There's been times that I've experienced too many times that the A Train becomes unreliable due to having track workers that causes it to run at very low speeds during the late morning/early afternoon hours and also the bridge opening that causes it to remain stuck for a good portion of time. I usually want to get to places where I need to get to on time, especially when I go see my therapist or my social group on Wednesdays and weekends and 80% of the time the A Train has failed me. A couple of weekends recently the A Train that leaves Far Rockaway terminate at Howard Beach and commuters have to take the shuttle bus to go to the stops where they usually go and sometimes on Saturdays I need to get to an event at Manhattan with my social group at a certain time and if the A Train becomes messed up, I'm screwed. Recently I've been riding the QM17 from my home when I leave early in the morning and I got where I needed to go in little time and I feel that the QM17 is the only reliable way out of the Rockaways to the city in the morning if they're willing to pay the $6.50. There's been a couple of occurrences where the QM17 has nearly a full house and the bus I usually take is the final one of the day. And I'll never forget the first time I ever took the QM17 from Nintendo World at Rockefeller Centre to home and I got there in less than an hour. I just wish other people in the Rockaways just speak out to have off-peak Express service because suppose there's people who have reduced fare cards and are willing to pay the $3.25 to get from the Rockaways to Midtown quick, because I definitely can take advantage of that. I don't have much to say about the QM16 because I never took it but I feel the people who live near the QM16 should get the same treatment.
