How much do you think it will cost and how much time would it take if the MTA opened up the 95th street wall to have trains be able to cross over past the station? Do you think the MTA would ever look into this so to increase frequencies.
Only bringing it up because the MTA announced today that they will increase R frequencies to 8 minutes during Mid-day.

Glenwood Rd by Flatbush Ave is not very busy until you get on to Flatbush Ave. I am aware that East of Flatbush Ave is very bust but maybe have a small number of short turns at Glenwood Rd because it's severely packed going towards 86th Street.
I'm thinking the MTA will send a second option order of R211s to replace the R68 fleet because the
R68s are a small fleet,
They are approaching 35/40 years old
They're 75ft
And there will be problems with sign switching at Astoria for N/W trains.
I don't understand. What is stopping the MTA from turning on the rear door OMNY readers!?
People enter throught the back anyway and especially when the bus is late or packed..
Atleast with the OMNY readers turned on in the rear, there will be more of a chance that people will use it..
I know we need to make trains accessible, but seriously.. when is the last time you've seen someone with a wheelchair or walker on the train? Most of the time I see them on the bus or access a ride.. I think all this extra accessibility is overkill..
