When I was in my last week of class (around Easter) I was told there were three more classes after mine and that was it for the time being. They were waiting for more people to retire before they start doing final processing for any more people. But don’t be discouraged they pull from these lists for a few years, I’m sure you guys will get your call much sooner than later

It’s good. A lot to take in however my instructor is very thorough. I’m going into my third week now but we’ve already covered so much. Definitely looking forward to actually experiencing what the job is actually like.

No, I wore polos (untucked) my first and second days & they didn’t say anything. They are however looking for a button down similar to the uniform for the classes though.

You have to wait until your second or third day of training in order to sign in. They have more paperwork for you to fill out. Also just a warning bring a backpack or something to carry books, by day three you will have quite a few.

Yep. Fingerprinting is basically the last thing you do before you get to go home .

Congrats to you too! I filled out more paperwork (another packet) & went in for the interview portion. They asked me a few questions regarding my paperwork and then made me sign a bunch of papers, sent me for my ID picture and fingerprinting. Was there about four hours.
