I got a cellphone ticket last year. Fighting it with a lawyer. Date keeps getting post posed. Transit called me 2 weeks ago and I told them about the ticket. She said no more than 5 points on your license. When I checked the forum some people were saying no more than 4 points. I was thinking about taking the 5 point hit so that I can get the job if you can't have more the 5 points. My new court date is March of next year inwhich my ticket will be 2 years old. Transit considers that a pending ticket even though I have not been found guilty. I was told it will not show on my driver's abstract but I'm not going to lie and risk getting fired later. Been trying to reach transit again to verify about the 5 points and I can't get through. Can someone post a contact number? I'm set for a callback or I can call once the ticket is settled

I took 2 drug test, the first one expired and the second one I was called in for a medical to start the rest of the process. They might not have gotten to your list number but had you on standby.. They are something else...hope you called them about that. If you failed the drug test you difinitely have to be notified

Please donot go there with copies of documents they want all originals!!!!! Repeat all originals or you will be going back home to bring the originals back. If you have tickets out of state take care of those tickets. You will not get away with this. Trust me!!!! Be prepared to sit for hours and I mean hours. Bring lunch..

Since there is a freeze alot of you may get a letter offering you a bus driver position before they call you for conductor. Of course if you take the position you forfeit the conductor position. Been this route twice with transit. However while you are waiting make sure you get your driver's license in order as far as points and tickets. At the pre-employment if anything shows up on your drivers abstract you will go no further until all tickets and judgments have been paid and yes this applies to the conductor position also. If they send you to the Dept. Of finance to pay your tickets you must come back with a paper receipt and a clearance letter. Donot try to pay your tickets through the DMV on-line the day of pre-employment that is not acceptable. From the time you left high school or was 18 to present they want to know your school and work history no gaps. If unemployed 6 months write the month/day/ year again no gaps. I think those books are a total waste. Do you know what street the big Macy's is on? I find if you travel by train alot you will know the main landmark areas. Learn how to read the train maps. If you are good with reading comprehension you should do good. Please don't go overboard studing you might hit yourself upside your head because what you study will not be on the test.

Someone told me to get a lawyer and fight it, don't think that would do any good. TY for responding

Not at all they said look on the board downstairs for other jobs...

I didn't my heart was racing so fast they called emt... blood pressure good... It turns out my freckin Thyroid levels were very high causing this racing heart... I cursed my medical Dr. Whom had me believing he was on top of my blood work..

I was put on medical hold to be cleared by cardiologist. When all exams was done I went back to Livingston street and boom to late classes are full. Passed all other test.

I was hoping one more class from 8094 would be added. Guess that will never happen. Can't believe my goose is cooked with this position

Did exam #8094 expire.... I was placed on medical hold and when I cleared i was told sorry classes are full. Just hoping someone can give me some information or some kind of loop hole where they would still have to hire me... so pissed..However good luck to those that made it.
