For those of you in the Nov 26th class. This is just a suggestion. Start reading the first 38 rules in the Rule book. Then read Train Operator and Conductor as you need to be conversant in titles that are similarly engaged in the movement of trains. I will be going around the induction class asking everyone to join a Slack group that I created. It will help with sharing info as pertains to our induction group. I will then make class groups which will help with studying and comparing notes.

I listed one from out of state just to be safe... they aren't going to disqualify you for a moving violation.. better off listing it in my opinion in case they do find out about it.

Thank you. I was able to set up my account.. now I just need to figure out what boots to order lol.

Does anyone have a phone number for the 5th floor other then Mrs. Vargas? I am having trouble placing the order for my boots because I am not placed in the shoe company system yet.  I already left Mrs. Vargas a message but was hoping to speak to a live person.  Thank you.

When you go for P/E you need your high school diploma! When you get your homework from them and come back for the medical that’s when you have to have your disposition(s). Make sure that packet is filled out correctly, a bit of advice take a picture of everything you wrote down for P/E and write it the same for the packet and you’ll be straight. Good luck to you all! 

Yes, this is correct they will not ask for your dispositions till the medical.

Not sure about the transcripts but you need the dispositions and make sure they are original copies with the court seal on it that's all they will accept

Passed my medical today. I made it into the November 26th class.  They moved us out pretty quick I was finished with everything by about 3:15.  Good luck to everyone.

I just got the email I have the medical this friday, being considered for the nov.26 class.  List #31x.

Hi, does anyone know if you declined the temp position, can you reinstate your name on that list before the regular list is established?  I have a vacation coming up in July but thinking when that is over to try and reinstate my name if they haven't established the Dcas list yet.. thanks in advance.. list #2xx

Tier 6 for TA employees is still 25/55 with the stipulation that if you get your 25 years of service before you reach age 55 (start before age 30), you won't collect until you are age 63. If you work until you are 55, then you can collect immediately. So if you work until age 55, that's 31 years of service. The regular Tier 6 pension is 30/61.

If you only have to list convictions but you received an ACD it would not be considered a conviction because it was adjourned and sealed. If they ask you to list all arrests and summonses then it's a different story.  By no means am I telling people they should lie on the application.  To be safe I will bring my dispositions with me.  Thank you all for the advice.
