I called up

It’s moving but it’s going to be very slow only 20 vacancies , they have to consider promotional exams first, im list 79x and my number is not going to be reached for this class

So I hear that the next class is scheduled for April 29th ... smaller class than usual and drug test letters have not went out yet

I’m sure they meant 860*****

I spoke with Ms Vargas today and she said there are no vacancies right now to call back in April ; not sure what’s happening so patience it is whenever the call comes it does

God willing that’s the case .... I called recently and they told me to call back for an update in April ...

Being that there are no classes scheduled as of now i thought they weren’t holding no more PE for now

Lol bro you can either be patient have faith and hope for the best or simply just forget that you were ever in the process. Complaining is not going to change the circumstances or make the mta change their mind... I’m list number 7xx I should of been in but had to defer for January but it so happen that the class was already full trust me I would love to begin next month but at this point all I can do is patiently wait. Patiently wait for what ? For them to start calling again which hopefully will be in 3 months like Ms Vargas stated

Just found out that there will be no more classes for at least 3 months

Does any one have the answer to this ? Can I defer after the original list has been established and I been canvassed ? The reason why I ask if because I was under the impression that you can but after speaking with someone at DCAS i was told that i can not reinstate my name was i go inactive, sometimes there may be employees that don’t necessarily have the facts straight so I’m asking if any of you fellas or ladies have had to defer I’m list 79x

Do they collect the brown packet they asked us to do for HW and return when you come back for medical ? Or is this the paperwork you guys talking about ?
