Got my safgard shoe ordering issue resolved. Just emailed Michelle and she fixed it for me. Apparently I wasn't on some roster. Any shoe recommendations?

Yea I'm guessing my paperwork doesn't process over the weekend so maybe it hits the system Monday morning. Then I'll be able to order. If it's still not working by 12 or 1 pm tomorrow I'll give em a call.

Has anyone who recently got into the July 26th class been able to order their shoes? I've been trying all weekend and it keeps saying my MTA information is incorrect. Your employee ID is your BSC number on the induction papers right?

Yes that was me! Sorry I haven't posted any updates. I've been super busy. Got there at 6:30, out by 12. I did a vision test first, peed in a cup, then they hooked me up to EKG machine, and finally audio. After that I waited for the doctor to call me and approve me medically. Once she approved me, I got sent back to HR to take my picture for the metro card that they issue. Last but not least, they did my fingerprinting and sent me home. I am in the July 26th class, and the first day will be a Zoom orientation. Then on Tuesday we report in Brooklyn. I'm nervous and excited at the same time!

I have no idea 😂 I took the drug test on the 9th, so not even a week and they're already calling for medical is crazy. They definitely need people. Thank you, I hope all goes well in this medical thing! No problem, I tried to ask on the day I took the drug test when the next class is, but they weren't saying. I'm glad the lady on the phone confirmed.

Just got called for medical Friday morning. Lady on the phone told me next class is July 25th. So they're pushing to get people into that class.

About how long after you pass your drug test do they call you to go do medical? If anyone can give me a time frame so I can plan accordingly would be appreciated. Thanks

Have an appointment at 12 for drug test, is it a good idea to show up about an hour before? Or how early should I show up? List number 14xx. Got email on Monday, sent in canvas same day and got the call Wednesday morning. Friday July 9th at 12 PM is my appointment.

Patience is key!! I'm going to submit the canvas on Thursday or Friday cause I'm currently on vacation 😫 I wonder when the next class is?

Just got a call from 646-663-5740. Missed it and they called twice 🙄. Also got a canvas email that I will be filling out and sending back asap!! Looks like the list is moving along nicely. List number 145x!

14xx here, got called for 2nd PE on Monday June 24th. Hopefully get hired for any fall classes if they have!

Also got invited for the May 16th open house. I applied in February? I know it was a couple months ago. Guess we'll be taking the cognitive exam that day.

Ahhh words of hope!! I'm excited again! Lol looking forward to it. So close but yet so far away. Can't wait to hear of new classes being scheduled!

What is it about this new contract that's making so many people retire?

For pre employment? They're around 1800 at the moment, so hopefully soon! Also happy new year everyone, list 14xx waiting on that medical e-mail to really enjoy my 2019!

I got here around 6:30 this morning. About 25 people in front of me. I think lab got backed up cause it was about a 2 hour wait actually sitting inside the laboratory. Finished drug test at 1. There's still a LOT of people waiting.

List number 14xx. Currently sitting at 180 Livingston Street for my first pre-employment. Got here around 6:30 this morning and there was already a line. Get here as early as possible!
