  1. To everyone still waiting the list expires on March 2025. And they do sometimes extend it another year. So it can even be March 2026. Keep hope alive everybody. Happy holidays!!
  2. According to the MTA hotline phone number the last list # called was 425.
  3. Welcome to Transit lol. Hopefully, they're are up to # 340. And if you're in the mid 500's than you should be called by early next year perhaps. Good luck to you & keep all of us posted on here!!
  4. No problem, let us know when you're called. You are in the early, mid, or late 500's???
  5. Ladies & gentlemen all who are still waiting patiently. The last list # called was 320. So, there is hope after all I guess!!
  6. Some good news for all that are still waiting. My boy was called yesterday to report for a drug test today. His list # in the 280's. So slowly but surely it's starting to move again I guess.
  7. Yea, that is true. I believe your position is called provisional. It's a foot in the door.
  8. No problem. I hope we all get called. But in reality it will go to certain list # then that will be it. Hopefully, they will extend this list. It's set to expire in March 2025. You should be called in about another 2 years or so. Remember, this is a small department. So, hiring new candidates isn't quite common with this particular job title. My advice to all is: TAKE AS MANY EXAMS AS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR ELIGIBLE FOR!!!! It's a numbers game. Good luck to everyone on their journey.
  9. No problem. What is your list # range? I am in the early 1000's. All I can do is hope that this list starts to move swiftly in the next couple to few yrs. Lol smh..
  10. Here is a very helpful phone number: 1-347-643-7221. After calling press 0, then 2, then 0. When someone picks up, give them the exam # you took which in this case is "#8623" & your list #. The last list # called according to them was #207. Good luck to everyone!!!! Hopefully, we all get called.
  11. Furthermore here are 3 emails where more assistance may be: Persida.Rivera-Acosta@nyct.com Examsunit@nyct.com Oasys@dcas.nyc.gov
  12. Wait until the automated robot finishes speaking before pressing the prompt buttons.
  13. Call DCAS: 1-212-669-1357. Press 3, then enter your social security number, then press 1, then press 3.
  14. Can anyone who has been called recently post their list # range please. Thanks
  15. According to DCAS automated phone line 1-212-669-1357. The last # appointed for this list was 185.
  16. Carebear1 said he or she was #168 not #198. Send Carebear1 a direct message & ask him or her. But you should be called any day now. Keep us all posted here. Did you email the lady in charge of hiring at Transit? Persida.Rivera-Acosta@nyct.com
  17. I tried contacting Transit & it's impossible to get a hold of anybody. This list is moving very slow being that it's a small department.
  18. Just to let everyone know, when I contacted Transit. I was told there were no classes last month in January. And there are no classes scheduled for this month in February.
  19. Carebear1 said he or she was called with list # 168 not me. I am like in the early 1,000's so I doubt I will even be called. But it's good to keep the faith alive. Anyway, you can email this lady at Transit & she can help you. Persida.Rivera-Acosta@nyct.com
  20. I called & emailed these people in Transit & no one answers or returns a message. Can someone here kindly post if they were called & what list number they are. Thanks!!
  21. My list # is in the early 1,000's, so I doubt I will even be called. When I contacted Transit last week they're supposedly up to list #50 so far.
  22. I call every month & get all different types of stories. They extended the old list as previously mentioned. So, I heard we will be getting our results this month, in January, or in June. To be honest they probably don't even know exactly when.
  23. The previous list was extended. Not sure if it will be another year. And how do I know? I called the MTA employment number & was told that.
