While going to meet a friend at Jamaica, I saw an M9 just as I got to the station! Enjoy!

While at Mineola, I got to see some testing of the switches for the Oyster Bay Branch. Enjoy! 

Enjoy this ride up the Central Park West Express on an R179 A train, from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 125 St. 

I used both my Apple Watch and my Debit card today with my phone (which was set up as express transit), and it worked like a charm! Can't wait for the expansion of OMNY!

Before heading out to Mineola, I stopped by Queens Village for a bit. Enjoy! 

While waiting at Elmhurst Avenue, this R68 showed up, which is quite rare to see on the Queens Blvd Line. Enjoy!

This is great to see. I'm sure people will appreciate the clearer messages whenever service gets disrupted. 

According to today's L Project Weekly Newsletter, the B91/92 are being replaced with a new B91A route that'll better serve the ridership patterns they've seen. More info here:

I gotta say, that cab door window looks a little odd. I hope it won't mean a lack of a view from the passenger area (hoping for the same polarized filter over the cab window from the inside)

Yes, I believe 3248-52 was actually testing recently out on the Rockaways Test Track. I know 3261 crossed the bridge last night

This was spotted at the Fulton/Nassau entrance to the J/Z yesterday, and posted on r/nyc. Looks like they're beginning to enable them before May 31!

It's really pretty – in fact, I was able to fan for a couple of hours last Monday during the evening rush, which I've yet to compile and post (but I should have it up soon, so stay tuned!) 

While walking around Woodside for a school project yesterday, I was able to catch a few trains from street level. Enjoy!

I feel like the one exception to poor crewing, etc. that I've noticed is 34-Hudson during rush hours. They really seem to have crews always board immediately after a train platforms and dumps the brakes, and will have it ready to head back out towards Queens in a minute or two. It's the one terminal I've witnessed trains running in and out like clockwork.

Everyone was asking about the dog, and they haven't said anything officially yet. Someone tweeted that they saw it was dead but I'm still hoping for the best

My thought would be to maybe put it at the corner of one of the staircases down to the express platform, that way it'd minimize extra tunneling of the express level

I think it'd have required extending that area of the platform further back, which likely would have been much more difficult as the entrance where the elevator is being added had to be fully rebuilt due to a new building on the street.

A ride on this past Saturday's rerouted train, from 81 St to 59 St. Enjoy! 

An unusual reroute, this  train was sent to 145 St, and so I was able to catch it on its way south. Enjoy!
