Yeah I mean I took the test 3 years ago and you wanna call me 10 weeks before my wedding lol. I didn’t want to risk a what if factor so I’m sure If they were willing to hire me a week ago they still will 10 weeks from now. Drug test and medical should still be fine for me if I gotta take it again that’s fine I know I’ll pass so that’s not the issue. Because it says on paper prior vacations planned won’t be excused so I just think it’s a bad image coming out of training going into a depot Takin 11 days off already that’s if it’s even granted to me. Guy said call him back in October when I’m done with everything and they will get me back in

I passed the drug test, had to go down for my medical they told me since I would start training august 15 but finish 9/26 with my wedding on 10/17 call them back after my honeymoon and they will get me back to finish the process because theirs no guarantee a depot I end up in will give me all those days off straight out of training. They are in a hiring spree so I’m not worried about getting back on in October

If you’ve made it to phase 2 is there a way you can have them put you back on the list if the timing now isn’t right for you? If so who do you contact ?

@+Young+ yeah I can’t see them saying umm you can’t go in your honeymoon if I got documentation that or you gotta push your wedding back till a day you’re off lol. I think as long a I show documentation showing wedding and honeymoon booked before I ever went in for pre employment I should be fine

@+Young+ I’m probably starting training on August 15th, I have MY wedding and honeymoon in November previously planned, I shouldn’t have an issue with that right as long as I show documentation it was planned before I started any training. I was told they might just add those days into my probationary period, they can’t tell me I can’t get married or go on my honeymoon as long as I got It documented right ?

Just got the letter I passed my drug test and to come down Wednesday at 7am for more stuff and I’m on track to start training august 15

@lornaevo Ahhhh. And as far as my past driving tickets all they said was do I have anything active

I got there at 11:45 for my 12:30 they took my ID and something for me to fill out. Said go have lunch downstairs come back at 12:30. Went back up waiting maybe 15 minutes they called me looked all over my paper work. Told me as long as I don’t have any active tickets that section didn’t have to be filled out. Had to mark down I resigned from my previous jobs then went to go take the drug test. After that I spoke to some guy as I left who said I was all done and they would be emailing me within 3-90 days for the next steps. Im assuming he meant 30-90 lol. I was out by 1:30 not too bad

Congrats….you really pushed it to the limit. Least you got that and can I’ve forward. Next big step for you is passing the actual road test through the MTA training which I believe you get two chances
