    It is definitely worth it!!

I have attended the protest session for the last couple of exams, and to recap what happened:

After taking the elevator to the 4th Floor, the personnel at the door will ask to see your "Candidate's Record of Answers" from the exam. They may temporarily take it, however they will give it back. They are eventually going to lead us to a room. The last protest session was held in a smaller conference room, the second to last protest session was held in the standard classroom. In this room, besides signing in, they are going to give us the test booklet, memory booklet, the proposed answer key and several "blank sheets" all at the same time. What we have to do is not only compare our "Candidate's Record of Answers" with the proposed answer key, which you can actually do ahead of time since they're posted on this webpage, but if we think that the answer we selected is better than the proposed answer, then we will have the chance to make this argument on the "blank sheets" that they will give us. Just make sure you provide a thorough argument, because if you write down "My answer is better than your answer," it will not be valid.

In addition, the atmosphere during the protest session is the opposite compared to taking the exam, in other words, we can briefly talk to each other, we can ask each other for their opinion on a certain question, talk to each other more in-depth while walking out of the building, etc.

    Hope this helps.

thank you so much, pretty clear.

Yes, Casey Stengel is located across the street from CitiField, where the Mets play. You can simply take the (7) to Mets/Willets Point and the depot is right there.

I don't know too much about the instructor, however, whatever he tells you to do for the next 7 days, just do it and deal with it. From reading several things on this site, this will be the hardest part of the job.

As far as TWU and ATU, these are different unions. After the 10-day training session, if you pick a Queens or Staten Island Depot, such as Casey Stengel, you are stuck there, as a Bus Operator, for the rest of your career, unless you decide to take a promotional exam for Dispatcher, Train Operator, etc.

Thank you, just curious what are the other opportunities (except bus operator)  if we choose one depot except staten island and queens?

For this exam 7105 I had to be skipped because I didn’t have a social at the time. Back in December I came down for 7612 and did the urine. It expired and I had to do the whole process over again In April. May 1st I had to do a boss for 7612. Now I guess the process for 7105 started over again.

if you wouldn't mind, may i know your listing number for 7612?

  4. I did my drug test today. I was told that I will be called for medical between from 3-90 days .

If any one did medical in last few days, can you share your list number(without last 2 digit) and your drug test date with me?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. I m very new for this Forum. I received an E mail today for pre employment on 18th of April. unfortunately i am in vacation with my family in an other country.

Can i postpone my pre employment date after 3 weeks? Or should I cancel my trip and return to home with family?

After I read this post, I understand that,  After I finish the pre employment ( if i m eligible)  I have to wait for the medical and drug test? then wait for training classes? can anyone explain the hiring process?
