Good morning everyone I am not sure where to post this question, so I apologize If you are a current Bus Operator and pass probation, you can leave your title and try another title (for example track worker) once you are called. Does this apply to all three TA, OA, MTA Bus company ? Are you considered to be a "New hire" if you leave your current title for another title ? Thank You

Can you just show up in person to resolve any issues, or do you need an appointment to show up? Due to the pandemic I was under the impression that you first need and appointment and then fill out a virus screening form online the day before, or they won't let you in.

That's good, so there should be more classes after the January class. Who was your source?

what part of Queens you live in? I use to have to report to Far Rockaway, Stillwell, and it was a nightmare from Northern Queens, I needed at least 2 hours, even to PS248 Reporting to A divison in Bronx locations I would think it would be more accessible than downtown Brooklyn, more trains and you are lucky if the LIRR is close to you. 👍good luck in school car, it's a lot more than just opening and closing doors lol

someone mentioned there is an Operator class starting on the 12. It looks like the class is full and you just didn't make it that's why you didn't get the medical phase. You will more likely be in the next class, I am hearing that they are in dire need of Operators and Conductors as well. I am not sure about Track Workers, but in either case you will get contacted, check that your contact info is correct and keep calling those numbers. I was able to talk to someone but only after many attempts unfortunately.

The won't wave the three year rule because it's a minimum years of driving experience necessary before you are responsible for handling a 40 to 60 foot vehicle, it's liability reasons and such. Maybe perhaps they might wave the five year rule.

Your almost there, in the medical email they send they will usually let you know what class they are trying to put in if you pass the second phase. Could you let us know if they tell you tomorrow, that you have to show proof of COVID 19 vaccination to be hired? and if there are exemptions available for the vaccine? Appreciate it Thank You and I hope you pass the medical 👍

I was in upper manhattan, but I don't recall the streets, but I did have some acute turns which were quite difficult

It will be up to you, they expect that you have corrected your mistakes by day 6 They want to see that you have the basics down and are driving safely at all times. Hope you pass 👍

I didn't do good until Day 6, forward planning and cover your right side, those were my gaffs on day 6 On day 7 I passed before you turn go slow and decide what turn you need to make and be committed to the turn and follow through and adjust as to not clip your rear wheels with the sidewalk as others have said they are looking if the student is progressing and not repeating the same mistakes I hope you pass on Day 7, make believe day 6 is qualification day and do your best and you will surprise yourself on day 7

Good evening When an operator resigns, you get about a year time limit to be rehired. Does anyone know if its a year from the date that you resigned or a year from the date that you got hired ? thank you all
