That’s contentment 101 right there enjoying more or little that you have in front of you…ever wonder how the poor can be so happy & the rich can be so miserable should be opposite right ? Nah it’s deeper than what you can buy or easily attain…I’m happy for you tho stay focus & out of trouble on & off the job and of course they’ll get to my list number not worried about that at all last T/O exam they hired way passed my list number they reached like the 9,000 maybe even to 10,000 and that was because of the recession…I don’t know which hiring freeze was worst….recession or Covid but i think Covid was worst because of the after effects on the economy & ppl livelihood they both punched & landed but it’s all how we recover but yea the way they are aggressively hiring 6000s feel like can be reached in a few weeks definitely not stressing them like I said they need us believe it or not….not everyone wants to work for MTA & ppl definitely took other exams and didn’t wait & took on different careers & paths…especially when Covid hit….so sometimes list numbers is not even worth looking at or caring for cuz it’s all out of place even though I’m already on the job I can’t stand the position I’m at anymore….not the worst but not the best…it’s a job….want to get to the front as much as every one on this forum does……but I know being in the front is a HUGH responsibility that’s why I’m not sweating it…if I get it I get it if I don’t I don’t…..only thing can really stop me is if I don’t want to give up my cushion seniority with my RDOs and start from the bottom but I don’t really mind losing to gain….change is always good

Nothing I bet you just waited thats all you can do Make something out of it…..wisely like you said for taking care of family most importantly Don’t do anything or be around anyone who can jeopardize that can’t be stressing nothing in life nope nope nope no way ! I see on this forum how ppl stress about MTA getting to their list number then once they list number is reached now stressing about getting call for medical then once called for medical stressing about passing school car I know anxiety is real but for this ?!? And I’m not gonna say I haven’t asked questions about this list but that’s where it stays just the list numbers and if you haven’t noticed….MTA need us more than we need them have you seen the news lately ???? With missing crews ???? Don’t let anybody tell you it’s a lie T/O told me the other day they training was cut short cuz they needed bodies and he’s in the B division so what do that tell you ? It’s an urgency/emergency to hire cuz like with any job it’s a cycle…..retired fired & hired they gonna get through this list…I say respectfully…hopefully it makes sense to go through it because of the hiring freeze most of y’all would of been called already TBH But we all know MTA can do whatever they please….extend or not….just hoping for the best with any results oh yea forgot……..list 6XXX but ain’t stressing Stay positive with life not Covid my friends…ppl still getting sick

When helping out goes too far smh lol but that person actions were bold Got way beyond questions like what list number they up to for pre employment or medical….. yea it’s dry right now but Patience is key on this forum…wait in life….for the ones that got called already and waiting 3-90 days……..just chill….it’s coming….you went through the most important part of the process already & list will hopefully it get extended gotta crawl before you walk…no school car or job before even being medically cleared…ppl stressing on here like it’s been 91 days and was just forgotten about…everything takes time…as fast as we want something is just as fast as we would not want something & be ungrateful anxious to get list number called once called now anxious to get through school car…so stressful for what a job ? they will call & hire who they want when they want with or without you it’s a job treat it like so follow rules & guidelines enjoy the experience without the folly and you’ll be able to stick around for awhile TSS shouldn’t have to be asking questions about what ppl are doing in their private lives that’s when things are getting out of hand & whoever must be going up & beyond we all need a job we all want this job we all will get this job if it’s meant straight up

list number 6XXX...I know kinda high but last exam it made it to the 9000s if not mistaken I think even 10000s....quick question...how far down the list you guys think MTA will go...heard a lot of stuff from mass retirements to ppl not even making it through school car or declining the position because of covid
