  1. The line shares the same equipment models with the line of those 64 newer R160A sets on car body numbers #8313-#8376, which goes for the same, exact reason for both the and lines since those sets are out of ENY. But if you’re talking about the newer R160A sets on car body numbers #8377-#8652 and #9943-#9974 that are currently being used on the and lines, then those sets cannot run on the line since those sets are not fully converted into CBTC and is not ATO operated just yet.
  2. Like I said before, the line can also use all of the newer R160A sets from ENY as well just like how the and line does. And Canarsie-14th Street CBTC cars can run on the Queens Boulevard Line. So, within the coming days, I hope to expect a newer R160A cars with the Marc Jacobs ad-wrapped on car body numbers #8409-#8412 and #8453-#8456 to run in passenger service on the and lines!

  4. I mean, they gotta use them on the and lines at least once. Look at the newer R160A sets with the ZOHO One ad-wrapped on car body numbers #9348-#9352, they were mainly used on the line. But that set was also shared with the and lines. But I have yet to see them on the line.
  5. But since those sets are from ENY, do you think that they will also share and use them on the and lines as well in the future?
  6. I thought the line can also use all of the newer R160A sets from ENY as well just like how the and line does. But I know that the line can only use car body numbers #8313-#8376 due to the restriction along the Canarsie-14 St line since they use the older version of the CBTC, which is already equipped with ATO.
  7. Hi, I was wondering, did the and lines use the newer R160A sets with the new Marc Jacobs ad-wrapped on car body numbers #8409-#8412 and #8453-#8456 yet? I’ve heard that they’ve been using those sets a lot on the line now a days. And, I know that the and lines usually share the same equipment models with the same, exact body numbers of the R160A sets from the line.
  8. Hey, there. I really hope that you’re safe, sound, healthy and doing well. 👍🏻😊☺️ Btw, I have a question. Since the Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) system is activated on the Independent Subway Train System (IND) Queens Boulevard Line, which is on the (E)(F)<F> , (M) and (R) Lines, are the trains still being operated with the dead-man’s switch or does the train operator have to press a button in order for the trains to run automatically, just like how the (7),  <7> and the (L) Train does?

I am a rider, not staff, currently QBL is ATPM (cab signals) or bypass (trip cocks), operators choice, plus CBTC is turned off centrally because of water on tracks or radio problems or someone reported a track defect and politics (with ATO you can't fire the T/O for not watching for track defects).

  10. Which body numbers of the newer 2015 New Flyer Xcelsior XD40 Public City Bus equipment models from the LaGuardia City Bus Depot still has the ones with the luggage racks on it?
