This is the basis. They're approximately 5 TA lists open for bus operators where at one point 2 were extended. It looks like they have certain "rules" for promotional lists though from what I'm gathering. In essence after a year they can yes close a list. I'm reality they can do whatever they want by extending or "prolonging" it's a waiting game 

Crazy to think like wow only 208 passed and they have 4 years for the life of the list...people who passed barely are like I'll definitely get called. I guess time will tell and I would love to hear the reasoning.

Congratulations. Mabstoa is basically located out of Manhattan and Bronx, hence the name. Mta bus company is a mix of Queens,Bronx,Yonkers jfk/far rockaway. So in getting into these you'll most likely end up in these areas. It is totally up to you, I was hired into bus company sent to college point and dogs take 2601 to join TA to get into Staten Island where I reside. Best decision I made. It's all up to you and your family.

That's crazy. It was like that on Monday as well.

No. If you already gave them the paperwork, you’re good on that. But you need to redo the lab, then medical, the a class date. 

It is the best interest of everyone to come with  paperwork as they have "misplaced" quite a few of ours. Be prepared!

Not at all. It's all about the list number regardless of our employment status with them.

Exam 2611 has begun being called for day 1 pre-employment.

That's the thread for exam 2611 and you'll see what had transpired in the last few weeks. The email I use to contact transit is employmentcenter@nyct.com the phone number,from my experience, never gets answered. 

For exam 2611 there aren't any updates. Those of us who went on September 1st and 2nd are still waiting for our day two medical/Final processing. Mind you anything can change within a matter of moments.

Yes this is a civil service position unlike Mabstoa and MTA bus company. So I believe their placements and callings of new hires and cross overs are solely based on list numbers. Obviously older tests before newer tests.

As of right now I have not heard anything back from day 1. I went down on September 1st as well. Let's see what comes through for the rest of this day. 

My list number is 1x,but from what I heard from another depot buddy of mine who is in the lower 100's that he received the call,text and email. 

Received the email,text and call. Hiring from this list has begun.

2/3 of the CDL,will not get you your  CDL permit which is the minimum you will need to be considered for appointment. When your list number is reached they will reach out to you and have you come in for day 1. You will arrive they will see you do not have your CDL permit and say please reach out to us when you have your CDL permit.

The pre employment drug examination is only good for 30 days. I believe that is a good question if you are getting called for both in similar time frames.

Their form of contact is by phone,email and text when they reach your name on the list. So when you applied originally the information that you submitted should be where they reach out to you at. 

The Notice of results for Exam number 2611 should be in the mail within the next day or two.

I just reviewed on the DCAS website that exam 2611 is active,dated 7/20/2022 till 7/20/2026. @+Young+ posted a link in another forum but I'm unable to attach the proper link here for those of you who are interested to see your list number. 

Any idea how long after the list is established before they start to reach out to us?

Below was the response I received from the exams unit via email regarding the status of the hiring process. 

"At this time, NYC Transit will not be hiring provisional Bus Operator. We expect the list to be established for Exam # 2611 within the next two to three months. Once the list is established, you will receive a letter in the mail with your results."

This isn't in compliance with the NOE which everyone applied to. I guess it's the long game with all 6 tests for TA.
